itd proably have to be an entirely new character. Cause sorry, but Lelouch is dead, and unless u wnted some vry mind bogling reason for him to come back, id leave him dead. Plus his mission was fullfilled so thr would be nothing left for him to do as sad as it is.......... So id say it would hav to b a new character or suzaku and his life as zero.

I don't know but the writer left the opening open , in the end you can see C.C looking at the Cart Driver and saying ' Right , Lelouch ? ' and other than that he defeated Charles di Brittannia ( Immortal ) with Geass in both eyes , so he should have the code and as it wasn't C.C who was killed by Lelouch , so he has Geass unsealed . And when Nunnaly touches Lelouch when he is about to die , she sees his memories which is similar to when Lelouch touches C.C ( Immortal ) . So my take is Lelouch is alive as an immortal with C.C . But its upto the writer ofcourse.

Even though I would hate to say it, (it makes my stomach burn....) IF! Lelouch was......dead..... then at least show like his spirit or something in the show, like in star wars where u see Obi wan's spirit. At least show him in it! He is awesome!

lelouch is still alive, he's the cart driver at the end. C.C. can only talk to people if their still alive, like lelouch's mother, and i'm thinking lelouch is immortal, because while C.C. was praying in the church her geass sign on her forehead was gone. just some thoughts. wink.gif and also, i've looked around, and there are TWO pictures flying around.1 - http://i34.tinypic.com/rr1bpx.jpg2 - http://img391.imageshack.us/i/ea0255f3f37670fullxi0.gif/but if you're hoping for a third season, i don't think that's possible. seeing as lelouch just wanted to fill the world with happiness, and if he were to return, all the world hates him, so he'd be a dead man to show his face. so there'd be no point in his return.some more thoughts xD

more thoughts, excuse my rudeness (:Well from what you all make you'd think Code geass is done... The answer is No, Code geass is not. Lelouch of the rebellion is. His work is done what he sent out to do. There is still so much that was left unfinished about the world of CG and I would say that someday later on they will come back, Do I know what the story line is, no. But I really wouldn't care, as long as some of these questions are answer and we no more about it. About lelouch being dead. I for one don't think he is dead...now Yes he did die but he came back. And this right here will make all the sense your going to need on it. The Code is the power of immortality, which C.C. has. The 98th Emperor of Britannia, Charles, has the Code. He transferred the Code to Lelouch while strangling him in episode 21. Lelouch wanted this, and he deliberately told Suzaku to not interfere. However, the Code does not activate unless receiver dies first. This is shown when the nun kills C.C. after transferring the Code to her. Charle's Code activated when he shot himself. Here is one of the big misconceptions that most people have: The transfer of the Code does not involve death of the transferrer. The nun was crazy and killed herself after she transferred her code. VV was injured from the battle and died. So basically, after episode 21, Lelouch had Charle's Code (inactivated) and C.C's contracted Geass. When Lelouch got stabbed by Zero/Suzaku at the end, his Code was activated. What supports this is that Nunnally got Lelouch's memories when she touched him, just like Lelouch did when he touched C.C. back in Narita. The only way this could have happened is his Code activating. This pretty much confirms that he has the Code. Unlike C.C., and Charles, who lost their Geasses because the people who contracted them died, Lelouch didn't obtain C.C.'s Code and thus kept his Geass, while having the Code (which he obtained from Charles at the same time). Lelouch therefore has achieved CODE GEASS. Makes a lot of sense am I right. Do I have proof on this, No because no one really knows what they intended. On it maybe that leaks some information on another part to code geass. Who knows only time will really tell. But this is just some things to think about. I see it the best way to say this is not the end. And if your just one of those people that think anything more would ruin code geass...Then simple don't watch it there is a big number of those who would like to not see this end in such a way. For myself I really didn't like the way it ended but if it does turn out like as I have just said lelouch comes back because he now has the code and he also has the geass, that would make this so much better. This answer I say this best you can get on info to another code geass. I would say keep up hope and maybe someday you will see another season to code geass.

I think Lelouch does not have CC geass but his fathers because lelouchs hair is small and there is no geass symbol on his fore head like CC and I think It would stink if lelouch really died as the story would lose its magic. and lelouch understood CC true wish(geass) and he cares for her...so he became immortal and is with CC and I am about 99% sure he loves CC and he wants to make her and it would suck if lelouch was immortal and CC was also not immortal with him.......
