when i first move to this plase landlord told me no pets, that was very understood, 5years later my daughter wanted to buy a pit.the landlord was ok with princ and never said nothing about it, so we end up keeping him. i was always agents these kind of dogs only becouse i was lisenning to other people who didn\\\\\\\'t like pits.but when i saw his face i couldn\\\\\\\'t say no, i know about dogs mood swings,i understand that they also like to have there space and be respected for whom they are and the strength they have.i dont care if it\\\\\\\'s a pit or a little mut,all dogs have there moods and you do have to respect to a point that you have to understand they do have a mind of there own,and its a mind that your never going to know couse they cant tell you whats bothering them so there first instinct is to react.my babys name is princ, he\\\\\\\'s 2 years old, never bit nnoone, verry playfull, loves kids,he\\\\\\\'s a member to my family, even my friends that didn\\\\\\\'t agry of me having princ in my home with all the kids i have in my household, they say i cant just get redof him, he is a member, he is the friend and the protecter of these kids, he thinks hes one of them and trys to get the kids to chase him around the yard.i let the kids feed him directly in his mouth and princ loves that tention, couse he loves to eat.this is my baby, i never in a million years would think that a pit would be the one to make me understand that everything is going to be ok, he gives me lots of love and respect how much more can i ask for, from a creacher that everyone claims that they don\\\\\\\'t thing like a humen so there for u shouldn\\\\\\\'t turn your back on them, well you know that in life it self you cant turn your back on a humen been couse they realy can\\\\\\\'t be trusted. so wether its ia pit, chewawa,a mut or a humen been, you cant turn your back on ither one, so there for they should be consider a dog that has humen inticts, and understands very well, you just dont understand how they think.the pits that are bad its becouse they were tought to be that way, just like a teenager, the parent lets them be bad, hang out with gang members,dosn\\\\\\\'t punich them,so what do you think its going to happen to this teen, ill tell you, the teen was train to think that it\\\\\\\'s ok to be this way so there for hes always going to be, in jail,or dead, now this is the same kind of humen i am.its not the pits fought that humens can be so sellfish, unkind, and devies.if you want to put something to sleep put the person that train the dog to be vishes away, there the one thats a threat to the world, not my baby pit so please help me save my princ.

You right. If pitbulls were treated correctly, there would be no problem. And if you treated any living thing like they do those fighting dogs, it would do the same thing.

My daughter and her boys moved to a town (already a wonderful family with four dogs, three cats, the normal zoo, and once moved in the Animal control officers came to "collect a couple of dogs". They tried to get her Rottie and her Am Staff (bull dog). Oh no!!!!!!! She had not yet unpacked everything, took the dogs about 10 minutes away to another town and moved back there. She was one of the fortunate few that has that ability and funds (help from family and friends). It is ridiculous, they should ban the people that raise them to be aggressive fighters, not the pets themselves! They were bread originally as hunting dogs. The would hunt boars, and swine protecting people and their land. The least we can do is respect the breed for what it is supposed to do or we will all be out shooting beagles and setters and confiscating them
