Hey there, Im Maddy.Im a 12 year old girl and I want a job.I asked the store closest to me if they would employ me and their answer was "No your too young". Well I dont think thats fair. Why should you be employed on age when your perfectly capable of the requirements. I am mature and I need to earn money instead of asking my mum. Well how can I do that if nobody will employ me until im 14. The best job I can get is a paper round. I want to work in a store or somewhere with people. Not doing the only job Im allowed to do. HeyYeah it is totally unfair that 12 year olds shouldn't get a job. I, too am 12, and I'm looking for a job. Maybe try small corner shops. I might be getting a job at a saddlery.Hope I helped!Cass xx

Hey,i am 12 as well and i have and are still trying to get jobs in shops but they think i am too young, eventhough i am a mature 12year old.When i got rejected the first time for a shop job i started babysitting friends kids for $25 per day at the least, which is pretty good money if you ask me.
