 The residents of 41st street and the Temescal neighborhood are a community that takes pride in our neighborhood. We are requesting that 418 41st street Oakland, CA 94609 be painted a color more suited for the building and the neighborhood. The bright yellow color that it is currently being painted is offensive and does not add to the look and feel of the area. It is one of the largest buildings on the street and the yellow is reflective, distracting and disturbing to look at. It is in direct contrast to the surrounding homes and will most certainly affect their resale value. The house does not fit in the neighborhood or conform to the appearance of the homes in the area. Please paint the house a color more suited for its historical architecture and the appearance of the neighborhood.Thank you for your time and attention.
