um...kids *do* have rights. With maturity, physically and mentally, they gain rights. Of course kids will disagree, but it is something everyone must understand to be for their own sake. Its not like they are being treated as less than human, as some kids make it sound...like older people don't let them do everything they want because they enjoy telling them they can't. Kids will be kids, and they need boundaries set by older people who have more perspective untill they gain their own. Unfortunately there are times when older people take advantage of children in many ways...but thats what child services and they existing laws against that is for.

I support this petition. Children should have rights when it comes to protection however imgine your children having the right to drink at 8 or do drug by 7 or having sex by any age. when it comes to this sort of thing the child should not have the right to choose.

I support this petition. children no matter what age should have rights be able to tell what parent they want to live with and should be able to testify in court. how ever I do think that they should not be able to do what they want like smoke drink do drugs and ect. but rights that envovle themselves like the right to be happy the right to not be abuse and or neglected these rights they should have.
