I support this petition. Today\'s child labor laws were written in a different time, and in today\'s society, the reasons that the child labor laws were written for do not apply as much as they did back then. So long as kids are not forced to have jobs, I am all for it!
we 11-15 year olds should really be able to get a job so i can pay for my stuff on my own i feal bad for taking money from my parents so that way i can go do something fun so this is really why people should let us have a job to get payed so we dont have to worry about borrowing money from people and never be able to pay it back! sincerely, julia annmarie brown 12 years old

I support this petition.I\'m 12 yrs old and I want so many things this my mom can\'t afford with 3 other kids and 4 step kids.I mean,I want to make money and get the things I want to. I need a job, I\'m just as hard working than any other 16 yr old.Maybe even more mature.
I agree myself.I am also 12 and I want to get so many things my self and show my parents i am responsible with the things i would gain. But my dad is stubborn and so he never really cares what i want.
I support this petition. because i play AAA hockey which is the highest level and it\'s relay expensive it cost about 15 grand to play and my parents i cant belife they still let me play for that money but think of the other kids that dont get to play sports like i now someone who wants to play hockey but cant because he has a single parent and money dosent grow on trees

I really do agree.Children should be able to make money on their own without their parents having to buy it for them. my mom has three kids and it is hard for her to provide for us. I really do need a job to make myself and my family proud of what I will become.

Recently, my mom lost her job and my dads on disablity so since my mom lost her job I haven't been getting an allowance and I need it for stuff like clothes, and some of my other wants.
