This is unfair and wrong. will we be disturbed by the things we wear? i
mean, when fitting in, its whether we're able to SOCIALIZE! not learn how
to shop right. not fitting in isnt the clothing's problem. its urs if u
cant socialize. i mean, i dont wear these things either and i still know
how to make new friends. |

umm yeah these people are right, we shouldn't have uniforms i mean. yeah.
our founding fathers never had uniforms so why should we? how you dress may
show many things but it doesn't mean you'll bad later on. clothes are a
form of expression and so is writing so i dont support this cause for
justice, liberties and freedoms. =] |

the dress code is so unfair! why are we even doing this? Dont the students
have a say in what we should get to wear??? Now everyone is goign to go buy
their polos from abercrombie or hollister and if the unfiforms were to stop
clothing discrimination guess what, you just made it worse. WHAT ABOUT THE
PEOPLE WHO CANT AFFORD TO BUY AN ENTIRE NEW WARDROBE?? |

I'm still trying to understand what this uniform/dress code can accomplish!
If people broke the dress code rules before, they won't stop now! And don't
think that people aren't going to bend the rules. Where is the
individuality in this?!?! |

i really don't see how jeans can violate anything. and what's the
difference between a collared shirt and a t-shirt? why are we making such a
big deal out of what we wear? some people just wear whatever's on top of
their pile in their closet, out of convenience. the new dress code is
making them have to go SHOPPING for new clothing. it wastes time and money. |

students who should have the right to wear what we want. What are we,

i think that this dress code's incredibly unfair to the 7th graders and 6th
graders here @ our school now. i mean, now we have to spend more money to
buy new clothes that don't even look nice.i mean, what is this new dress
code supposed to be for? how the hell are students supposed to go through
181 days of school, while feeling self-conscious about what they're
wearing? |
| 34 |
7 May 2008 - 21:19
Carolyn M. :
i totally agree; even uniforms might be better than a dress code like this,
i mean now it's gonna be even harder to find an outfit in the morning. and
it's our choice if we want to wear designer clothing or clothes that are
just comfortable. |

um. i disagree with that new rule. i think the only reason why schools
should have a uniform dress code is that:1) its a catholic school.2) the
school shares a building with another school. [ex: the east west school of
international studies]3) ALL female students wear 3 inch miniskirts or
something.if 194's reasons are none of the above, then i hope they will
remove the uniform dress code. or at least give the students a good reason
why. |

eww. What? iam so wearing jeans not fair! its not like its a catholic

I think kids should wear whatever they want, but nothing too revealing to
school.Uniforms are just uncomfortable. Some kids dont like them, and they
get all so uncomfortable. |

omfg i used to wear uniforms, buh they are so totally disgusting, it
deprives the youth of America of having the right to freely express
themselves anmd learning that this early in life will inevitably lead this
generation to grow up and become robots with no imagination. I happen to be
one of you who only wears jeans, and I AGREE on the precedent set by this
rebellion towards these conformist idiots at the good ole' Board Of Ed. NO
MORE SUITS!!! CAN'T YOU JUST LEARN TO AGREE BY THE FASHION STATEMENTS SET
BY STUDENTS IN THIS DAY AND AGE, PROVIDING THEY ARE SCHOOL APPROPRIATE, WHO
