I contacted Microsoft about the possibility of an HDMI cable at launch. Of course, the Xbox rep says nothing. I only ask about the HDMI cable is because Microsoft is touting the whole "HD Era" and having a HDMI cable at launch would support this message.

I would like to thank everyone who signed the petition. We finally got want we wanted HDMI, but not in the way I expected; the Xbox 360 Elite. I guess a new system with HDMI is better than no system with HDMI.
