The reason the third world is so poor is because there isn't a whole lot of "capitalist exploitation". The children who starved in some countries are protected from exploitation (in only some countries) by child labor laws, many others who starve are protected by "exploitation" by living wages. People who die of maleria have them and the environment protected from the "exploitation" of DDT. Most of Africa has never even had an Industrial Revolution. Countries such as Darfur have also helped clean up crime by cracking down on gun ownership, much as how Rwanda did during the 90's. The Third World is the Third World because it is one big social democracy. A socialist, worker's paradise. Yes, my friends we should all follow the Third World's example of allowing governments to cleanse us of the materialism and consumerism of the West, with their emphasis upon higher standards of living that neglect the spiritual side of life.

save yourself, and once you have done that save those close to you, after that you can focus on bigger and harder problems. i believe we should just nuke every inch of the planet, or just completly total it, after all the humans are gone, the world will be a much better place. dont you think?

For all saying that they shouldn't be relying on other countries, what else are they supposed to do? They don't have clean drinking water, food and other such NEEDS. Heck most of the kids dont even live untill they are at adulthood. Also if you are so patriotic and believe that your country is too good to help them, then at least display that by not swearing at every chance you get in your signings.

Well, we got to face that USA is the country with the biggest debt in the world... so who asked to who. The worst of all is that you cannot ask back to USA any type of remunaration because that would mean no support and the back from a ""leader"". And USA is not that saint neither, or are you all stupid enough to believe that Irak really hides nuclear bombs... or is that we are stupid enought to not know that USA actually got them also?. The reality is another, and is that the world is hugely bad organized. There is more than enough facilities to cure hunger in the world,yet we dont really approach them. And other facts are that generally poor people are ignorants, yet cause they cannot get a scholarship or cause simple come from poor families which make the cycle go over and over again. If not just see by yourselves, in countries like Argentina, where poor families have around 10 children each, leading them to live same life as their parents. Other is health problem, where in many african countries they have as much 10 doctors, when leader countries or even some 2# countries have over population of doctors and nurses. I think we need much more than just charity to help the third world countries.

#rd world countries should be banned. This is just like how fox cancels a sucky program that no one watches. That would also solve world hunger, since we can eat the 3rd world country refugees. Vuala, poverty and famine solved.

I support this petition. Every country has starving people, sleeping on the streets, yes some are far worse then others, but the fact of the matter is that governments should be helping those in need. That is part of their job requirement; to help others.
