49th Ave Traffic Changes

We, the undersigned, request that Queens’ Community Board #2 (CB2), related agencies and elected officials, advocate on behalf of the residents (families, seniors and individuals), businesses and visitors in CB2's district to the New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) for:
1. Installation of a ALL-WAY STOP SIGN at the corner of 5TH STREET AND 49TH AVENUE, LONG ISLAND CITY, 11101
2. Conversion of 49th AVENUE (between Vernon Boulevard and 5th Street) FROM a TWO-WAY street TO an EASTBOUND ONE-WAY street.
3. Addition of TWO SPEED BUMPS in front of “Andrew’s Grove” city park and playground on the south side of 49th AVENUE (between Vernon Boulevard & 5th Street.)
