The Goal of this petition is to raise awareness of the pending use of property of the citizens on North 49th Street for placement of a new water line from Kelly Highway to Grand Ave. Currently many property owners have been asked to forfeit up to 10 feet of their backyards for this project. However many property owners have not been informed of the project at all and are weary of the outcomes of this project on their property values and quality of use of their land before, during , and after the projects implementation.

This Petition is for the complete halt of this project until the two following criteria have been satisfactorly met.

1. A detailed report of the impact of the work upon each individual property owner. Included proposed cost of incidental damages, and post-work access to previous property.

2. A listing of alternative locations of the proposed waterline other than the curent projects projected course.
