I think Efren Paredes, Jr. deserves to be released until he receives a fair trial. I don't see how you can hold a former honor student on charges that are obviously not in his character. I'm an honor student
The governor should pardon Efren. The court system, especially in Berrien county is more interested in the preservation of order for the whites of St. Joseph's than in the presence of justice. Not only should this be done because of the incredible injustice that has been done to Efren, but because we this good, compassionate and educated young man on the outside! Steve Deasy
Free Efren Paredes, Jr. The society has no reason to keep him in prison when others have pled guilty to a crime in which Paredes had no part in. This is one of the many and unfortunate unjustices in todays society. The court system is an integral function of society and cannot have the corruptness that has been exhibited in this case!
Please reopen this case and find the real killers who committed this crime! Do not let those who pointed the finger at Efren get away with this murder/robbery.Thank you!
The deaf, dumb and blind to justice, there will never be any, this case is a direct violation of article 37, of the International Convention for the Rights and protection of children. Time is long overdue to LISTEN, AND LET JUSTICE 'prevail

Efren's unlawful incarceration must end immediately. His confinement is a crime against not him but his family and the community as well. At the least, he deserves a new trial.
It goes without saying that the criminal justice system is fatally flawed and cases such as a Efren's reveal the criminal justice system itself is in fact the criminal in our midst.
Ruego a las autoridades que tengan piedad de una persona inocente y que aunque las autoridades legislativas hayan comitido un error siempre en la vida hay tiempo de rectificar.Un saludo.Paula Mazzino.
I have taught for 21 years in Southwest Detroit. His case smells like a skunk. He was a minor who needed a great lawyer and a mentor. America is doing this to a minor. Are they planning a crucifiction too? He's 33. Get a clue. God's justice is different from a court of law that accepts tesimony from drug dealers. Just watch. Where were his grandparents from?
