Stop 4Kids from dubbing good anime!!!!!

4Kids tries to Americanize anime, but they end up butchering the ones they dub! It's good to include references to Japanese culture, but 4Kids doesn't think so. No, they have to call rice balls "donuts" and take out any reference to Japanese culture at all. Also, they try to make these shows palatable to children under 10 by taking out violence, drug use, and weapons. In "One Piece", you'd know that the character Sanji smokes cigarettes. In the US dub of the anime, the cigarettes are replaced with suckers. There is an absence of blood, and it isn't supposed to be a kids' anime.

There's also the case of Yu-Gi-Oh! Instead of the losers in the demonic Duel Monsters game dying like in the manga, they are sent to the "Shadow Realm". And, the Americanization of the main character names is just dumb.

These animes should be given to an at least halfway decent company, like Funimation or Viz Media. That's why I need your cooperation with this project. If the petition succeeds, then the US dub of One Piece may be worth watching after all.
