Looks like "typical greek" again, but the "animal love" in Greece is well known all over. At least people who care about these animals should not be hindered!!!!Sieht wieder einmal nach"typisch griechisch" aus, aber die "Tierliebe" in Griechenland ist ja allgemein bekannt! Zumindest sollten Leute, die sich um diese Tiere kümmern nicht schikaniert werden!!!!!
As a regularly tourist in Greece I hope that this dogs will go back and could find their final home in Germany where they will be loved.
Think to the earthquakes where trained dogs were finding people.
30 years ago I visited your country and the most important thing I remember is the horrible way the dogs and cats were treated.For this reason I never visited your country again. It is heartbreaking and a great shame, that nothing has changed during the last 30 years!!
When I visited Greece a stray dog came up to me, starving, and leaned up against me. I haven't been able to get this horrible picture out of my mind. If Greek authorities continue to detain these dogs, I will never travel to Greece again!!! Aristotle's wisdom and Hippocrates' compassion is needed here!
You should respect live. What the greek authorities are doing makes me said. How can you respect the Greek ? Greek government respect live release the dogs immediately !!!!!!!
Ich habe vor kurzer Zeit ein Interview mit der OB von Athen gesehen, wo sie sehr stolz erklärt, dass die Griechen schon vor vielen Jahren eine hohe Kultur gehabt haben!!
Was ist daraus geworden???
Mir kommt es so vor dass einige Leute in Griechenland mächtiger sind als der Staat selbst.
Griechenland ist eine Schande für die EU.
Wenn es die "Ausländer" nicht geben würde, gäbe es in GR auch kein Tierschutz.Unsere drei Hunde und Katzen sind aus GR und ihnen geht es hier bei weitem besser als auf der Strasse.Ich bezweifel, das unsere Tiere heute noch Leben würden, wenn sie nicht alle von einer Organisation gerettet worden wären.Was war denn vor den Olympischen Spielen? Wo sind denn all die Hunde geblieben?
Lasst endlich die 58 Hunde zu ihren wartenden und traurigen Familien.
In solch einem Land, werde ich sicherlich nie Urlaub machen.
Ihr solltet euch schämen, für das was ihr den Tieren antut.Und wenn es einen Gott gibt, so hoffe ich, das all diejenigen, die so mit den Tieren umgehen, mal mindestens genauso viel Schmerz und Leid ertragen müssen.

Lieber Gott, wenn es Dich gibt, strafe diese Barbaren und füge ihnen gleiches Leid zu, wie sie es den hilflosen Tieren antun.Sie sollen den gleichen Schmerz spüren.

why,why, why...specially our tourists must get a strange impression of greek care for animals. Our reputation was already not that good, politics go on while the dogs are suffering .....instead of being nicely rehomeed instead of running wild and multiplying in Creta. Steralisation and human education should have priority, money spent on that, not on 580 e. p.d.````....
The Greek authorities don`t think about the wellfare of the dogs. They only want to kill them, because the dogs are bad for there country. Think what happend during the olympic games in Greece. So let them please leave Greece.
You want to make your streets "stray free", so what's keeping you from doing just that? We may be a small country but we are one with a big animal heart so please allow us to give love to the animals you hate. Let them go!!
Ich habe früher oft meinen Urlaub in Griechenland verbracht, aber das Elend der Tiere dort kann kein normaler Mensch ertragen! Griechenland die Wiege der Kultur? Lachhaft! Die Gelder der EU und des "reichen" Deutschland nehmen sie gerne aber von Mindestanforderungen im Tierschutz wollen sie nichts wissen! Ich plädiere dafür, jegliche Subventionen an Griechenland zu stoppen, solang derart barbarisch mit Tieren umgegangen wird und darüber hinaus deutsche Tierschützer auf das Übelste verleumndet werden!
