Please, please release these poor dogs, so they can go to their new forever homes, and find out what it means to be loved and cared for. Surely they deserve this one chance in life.
I very much support this cause - in particular since there appears to not any logical reason to detain the dogs.
Greece is such a beautiful and important country - I trust that the Greek authorities will not let this status be adversely affected by such unnecessary and incomprehensible actions.
You people treat animals terribly, I've seen it with my own eyes. Sick and thin dogs crowding your streets. Casualties beaten to death, poisened, shot, hanged: this is mediaeval, sadistic and sick! Greek Government, with all due respect: this is the year 2005, we now know that animals feel the same pain and fear as us humans. If there is someone to blame it's mankind for domesticating dogs in the first place. Secondly it's tradition, giving a dog as a present without understanding what it means to own one. Dogs (and cats) give so much love to us, they are forgiving and loyal. Give them to people who understand and respect their real value and needs. We are willing to take your strays into our warm and loving homes, feed them, play with them and give them a save place to sleep. You owe this to them!
what a stupid pointless exercise to detain these dogs.If Greece is embarrassed by thier dog situation DO SOMTHING.Dont begrudge others who ARE doing something.
Waht did this dogs to you? The people of your country throw them on the streets or try to kill them with poison or whatever. You don't care about them, so why do you confiscate this dogs? Here in Germany they get places where they will got to know what love is! Your reaction must be a case of misplaced pride!! You want to be a member of the E.U.!? Please show us that your country is worth it!!!
Dear sirs,
You don't really care about these animals, normally you let them walk in the streets witout taking care of them.
Is this just a case of misplaces pride?
Pleas show us you are a worthy member of the E.U. and release these dogs to their rightfull owner.
This is not doing your reputation as a vacation resort any good!
I and my familt will not be going to Greek Islands again if this is how they treat those that try to help the animals in need there. Please free the dogs to Arche Noah
What is the sense of such unnecessary suffering of animals. This valuable help of Arche Noah is stopped for what reason?Give these dogs a chance and their home.People are waiting for them.Think of greece picture the world is getting from this incidence!!!
We have 70 dogs at the shelter I work at.Should we bring them to Mrs Karagounis doorstep and let her deal with the problem to rehome them herself since she thinks "greek dogs should live in Greece"?She says she's a member of an animal welfare org, which one?She throws accusations left and right about animals going for experiments and people in high places BELIEVE her,how far has the inbreeding gone in Greece?I mean, nobody in their right mind can believe crazy people like this!You are an EVIL,EVIL person Mrs Karagouni!Thanks for nothing!
This is a nightmare for animals again created by mankind. When is this going to stop!!! These dogs deserve a better life elsewhere where they can be save and be loved than staying in Greece. If there is any humanity left then these dogs should be FREE.
I will not travel to Greece anymore as long as tourists trying to help suffering animals are treated like criminals in this country - I myself am one of these obviously unwanted persons! Ftanei - den yparchoun pia nomoi stin Ellada;
