As I live sometmes in Sitia Crete for many years and support Noahs Ark as doing great work here also I am most distressed by this whole matter of the dogs. It s dsgraceful that a member of the eec shud act in this unauthorised manner.
Please free these dogs and send them to the adoptive homes. You are supposed to be a civilized society.
To use poison is he wrong and bad way, but to help the animals and welfare organisation is the good and right way.
Danke!
This practice is appauling and only goes to show the inhumane treatment of Greek authorities towards the animal kingdom. It also tells much about the humanity of the Greek Authourity. You can tell much about a civilization by the way they treat those that can not speak for themselves
Do the right thing and allow these animals to be sent safely to those who are willing to adopt. It would be a positive jesture considering how unjust humans can be. Thank you
Es ist unglaublich, wie unsinnig in diesem Falle gehandelt wird. Diese Tiere haben Seelen, die noch weiter zu Schaden kommen. Es macht Griechenland für mich nicht sympathischer!!!

I am appalled at the inhumane and highhanded way that representatives of the Greek authorities, purporting to uphold Greek laws, are behaving towards the representatives of the registered charity, Arche Noah and the dogs that homes waiting for them in Germany. I supposed I shouldn't be surprised as this is the same country whose laws (or rather, the very partial interpretation of laws) caused a group of plane spotters from the UK to be imprisoned quite illegally not so long ago. As a member country of the EU Greece seems to be uncommited to European values unless it suits them. I will continue to support Arche Noah in all its efforts to secure the release of the animals being held illegally in Athens. Perhaps it would be appropriate for the Greek officials responsible for this stupidity to reflect on their historical & cultural responsibility as decendents of those who made Greece the seat of democracy in the Western world.
Please give the dogs a chance and let them free. Arche Noah Kreta is a legitimate organisation.I know, that all dogs will get a good home by kind to animals familys. I myself have a dog from crete, switched from Arche Noah.I was many times for holidays in Greek and shocked about the destitution of the animals. Please help soon.

Please let these dogs go to their well needed homes. Don't allow beaurocracy or greed cloud the ethical issue of stopping needless suffering. We ARE suppose to be the higher form of life here on Earth and entrusted to have dominian over the other animals. In the name of trust and humanity, please let them go!
PLEASE let these animals go to their new LOVING HOME they can get. Give them a new live they can get by their new lovely waiting families. Please show your humanity.
Please allow these dogs to go to the homes waiting for them. What possible good are you doing by holding them. Not all animals are lucky enough to have a warm loving home, please give these dogs the chance they deserve.
Please clear the way for these dogs to get out of Greece and into homes that WANT them. Greece has its own over population of unwanted dogs. It serves no purpose to hold up dogs that have homes waiting. What is going on here?
What possible good does it do to prevent the dogs from leaving the country? Send them on the way please. Any bureaucratic issues can be sorted out without these dogs having to suffer further.
