What the hell are you thinking? These dogs had homes to go to, so why do you have to take them away? there are so many strays in greece- why dont you spend time on them rather than wasting your time on dogs which have homes!!!!! FREE THE DOGS!
Typical Greek attitude... I hope people mean it that they won't visit Greece until we start behaving ourselves, or cruelty to animals will never stop here. A disgusted Greek.
Let the dogs go. I will tell all Travell Centers in Suisserland they booking Hollydays to Greece, that Greece doing thath dirty things with the animlas....
Let the dogs go. I do not travel to greece, if they have no respect to animals.Let them go and show that you´re are respectfull European.-as you said to the EU !!!!
If they have homes to go to why keep hold of them it doesn't make any sense! Just let them go to their homes there is absolutely no point in detaining them uneccesarily! What is wrong with people? I was considering on spending this years summer holidays in Greece but this had made up my mind about that! Bulgaria is OUT too!
I've wanted to visit Greece on a trip for years, but I can't in conscience contribute money to a country that does this to animals. Show the world that you respect animals and let the dogs go.

we adopted a greek dog and we are so happy with him, all the belgians here say he is so friendly and so goodlooking. Please make other families happy and save the dogs and make them happy as well. You will be rewarded for your goodness.
please let these dogs go to happy homes. I myself adopted a greek dog who lives now since 3 years happily with me in belgium. Another greek dog was adopted by one of my friends. The greek strays are much more friendly and reliable than the dogs here who have a pedigree. PLease make the dogs happy and the people who will adopt them. I count on your goodness. thanks and bye bye
PLEASE, let the dogs free so they can have a happy uture and give them and a nice life. Let them go to the people who love them and take good care of them. Who can be so cruel to keep them prisoned in youre country. If you people go on with this cruelty I and many people of our country never visit your country again!!!
AS a member country of E.C. my compatriots deplore this attitude by authorities towards animals.
Let those who love and care about them be permitted to take them on.
Any country that treats animals in a cruel and insensitive manner deserves no support from tourism or benefits arising from membership of the E.C.

Shame on Greece and its attitude towards animals. I ll never come back to Greece again, things only get worse in animal treatment. Let the animals go to their new homes. Change the damn law that Karagouni made. Karagouni has the best seat reserved for her in hell.
The best way to address the stray problem is to home and neuter as many dogs as possible. THe authorities are very short-sighted if they cannot see this for themselves. There are homes waiting, let the dogs have some love and care, they are strays through no fault of their own. This is a PEOPLE problem.
My heart goes out not only to the poor animals - who are not aware of what they have lost - but also to their potential owners, who do. No one is going to go to all this trouble to 'kidnap' dogs for vivisection or the fur trade. See sense and let them go to their new homes.
I implore you to let these long suffering animals have peace at last. Their only crime is to have been unwanted, now they are wanted, please let them go. Their lives are so short compared to ours they don't have time to waste.
All the serious Greek Animal Protectors are ashamed of this situation here. We all hope that the dogs will be soon safe in their homes and that this nightmare will soon stop.
Thank you all for your precious help you give to our animals.
I told this handling of the greek authorities to the theatchers in school of my son and dougther and they will inform the another kids and speak with them in greek what happend!
Its a shame!!

I will personally kick every greek but i meet on my way, untill these dogs are let free! Is this the greek-philosophy in every aspects? If so, i don't think you're much better than the psychopats running around with bombs in Iraque!
SHAME ON YOU!
I am half Greek myself, and I am ashamed of that half when it comes to animal welfare in Greece. Its all about shame. They siezed the dogs because they felt the world watching them and they are trying to cover their shame. Well the world is watching and you should hang your heads in shame.
