On Monday, September 25th, 2005, at 12:00 PM, heavy driven alternative rock station "94.7 The Zone" was shut down and replaced with "94.7 Chicago's True Oldies." Word has leaked out if 1000 people sign a petition that they will consider bringing the station back. There is nothing left for us rockers out there in Chicago. I believe that ABC made a HUGE mistake by pulling the plug on The Zone. So please, if you are a real Chicagoan, you would want this station back.
