Goal: For Comcast and WTVC (Freedom Communications) to reach an agreement to allow Comcast subscribers the opportunity to watch Super Bowl XL on February 5, in High Definition.

We the undersigned appreciate that their may be certain and perhaps significant business concerns prohibiting Comcast and WTVC (and its parent company Freedom Communication) from reaching an agreement to broadcast WTVC's high definition signal via cable in the Chattanooga, TN area.

February 5th, Super Bowl Sunday, provides the perfect opportunities for both parties to come together to offer their customers, the viewing public of Chattanooga, the Super Bowl in high definition. While we would all like to see Comcast and WTVC reach a permanent agreement, we implore them to allow us to enjoy this quasi-holiday in high definition.

This city is ridiculous. Two greedy corporations prevent everyone from enjoying the Super Bowl in HD. Someone should lock WTVC and Comcast in a room on the eve of the Super Bowl and not let them out until they come to some kind of agreement.

I subscribe to Comcast in order to get their wide variety of HD programing that is not availabel over the air. I don't want to have to buy a reciever and antenna to recieve HD broadcasts from one station. WTVC needs to get thier act together and get on board.

WTVC broadcasts in HD. You can see the game in HD with an HD reciever and an HD antenna. Because there is no retransmission agreement with Comcast (or Charter for that matter), HD is only available for free, over the air; not on a pay service like cable

I support this petition. We should add more high definition channels to properly show larger items as they should be seen.

I support this petition. This is the worst sports town in America. First I can't watch a NATIONALLY televised Kentucky game on CBS because of a telethon, and now THIS!

I support this petition. Comcast is severely deficient in HD offerings in Chattanooga. They should offer ABC and Fox at minimum.
