Hello. My name is Brandon Baine and ever since Alsip has put up a skatepark i have always been overwelmed to ride it. I have skated in it and rollerbladed and actually rode my bike in there. I have gotten caught in there and gone to court but it was thrown out because it was foolish. You cant tell a person to go and make dirt jumps or something because then your trespassing on private property and some peoples style is just not dirt. I have been ticketed before for riding street for distruction to private property and just disturbing the peace. Thats silly when we have a skatepark that is purely hating on people who ride bikes. Its really not right when i have to get a ride 30 miles away to ride a park because our park doesnt let bikes in when every other park that was like ours that was against bikes has finally come to and let bikes in when ours is still against them. It really makes no sense. I would really like to come to a conclusion to save our park and finally let bikers ride in a public place and hopefully get most of the kids off the streets doing drugs and back on there bikes.
