Abortion is, and will probably always be one of the largest controversies in the WORLD. People abort, because they were stupid, and made a mistake, and can't afford, or just do not want the child; therefore it's murdered. I get accidents happen, but everyone knows this going into having a sexual relationship, its just common sense. Why must they punish this living, growing child inside of them, because of their mistakes? Rape, incest, account for only 1% of all abortions. That number is beyond low, but the highest number is 93% for the child being unwanted, not the right time, or money issues. Why doesn't anyone take into consideration adoption? They make a mistake, or something bad like rape or incest happens--it's bad; yes I agree, but why should what was made be punished for what happened? They shouldn't. It's cruel. There is millions of families who can not have a child who would love one from someone who was stupid during sex, or had an accident, or something horrible happened to them. What if the expecting mother is going to die if she gives birth, what if the baby is going to die anyway if it's carried to full term? Maybe, those are strong reasons to abort, but then again, is saving your life, over one who hasn't had a chance to live yet worth it? I myself am 100% against abortion. I'd rather keep the child no matter the issue, after all, half of it is and will always be mine; dead or alive.
