I love the place for its diversity, its union of people of all ages, race, religions and sexual preferances. If this goes than a valuable part of what Manchester is about will be lost. There isn't many places that unite all walks of life and this is certainly one that should be made part of Manchesters characteristics. LOVE YOU AFFLECKS!!!!
You close Afflecks and you destroy an important part of Manchester's heart and soul. Every living generation of my family can remember it touching their lives in some way. You destroy afflecks and you destroy the most important cultural experience the city has to offer. Think people over profit for once!
I used to work there and I still go in to find my gear for nights out! It's like everything else for people into rock, etc! You gotta take it away from us like we shouldn't exist! Stop trying to make us your dirty little secret! We have shopping needs too! Close something else down!!

Getting rid of Afflecks would be yet another step towards manchester becoming just another generic city. destruction of our culture and heritage cannot continue!
Without Afflecks we would all end up as grey clones :( I went there as a student & now I see my children & their peers enjoying the same as I STILL DO :) As much a part of Manchester as Old Trafford
Afflecks CANNOT close. Colluseum, Corn exchange and then Afflecks? And whats gonna be put in its place? Some rubbish new apartments we dont reall need? Another retail outlet you can find anywhere in the country? NO!
I think theres far too many posh flats in manchester, to lose the place would ne a great lost and it also loses manchester some of that what where missing + its an excerlent place for the right things many people will be disipointed
Afflecks is a place whee many people meet up, shop,,,enjoy a snack in the cafe,,, it is known and respected all over the coutry..to close this would be a travesty
Keep it open! Please! you've removed everywhere else of distinction from Manchester, i.e. Colliseum, Corn Exchange. There will be a lot of people in the northwest left with nowhere alternative to shop if Affleck's closes.
Afflecks has the most original garments and interesting stalls in the whole of Manchester, it would be a huge disappointment to see it gone. Please dont allow it to happen!!!
