keep Afflecks open, there's a crapload of run-down places in Manchester to renovate, use them, because you know, they're gonna tear the building down.
Hell if it closes down what the hell are we surrpose to do???
Clothes arnt cheap but that place is the only big place we've got.

Afflecks palace.. i got some orange trousers from there.. although i dont use it loads i do occassionally use it and it is good for what it sells.. keep it alive. me x
Afflecs Palace is pretty much the only original attraction in the Northern Quarter. Apart from Canal street it is realy the only expression of individuality left in this area. Please, keep this cultural icon up and running.
Don't shut afflecks! That place symbolises everything that was good about my teenage years, which I now miss being all grown up with a real job! It's somewhere everyone can find something, no matter what they're into (and I mean ANYTHING!). Save it for everyone's sakes!!!
Afflecks is the most amazing shop i have ever been in, And its somewhere you can feel like you fit in. Shut it down and youll have a lot of people on your backs, I think thats good enough!
Afflecks tends to be a main part of many teenagers day trips to manchester, including myself. Surely if the owners of the building want more money they can invest in somewhere less iconic and turn that building into flats.

please save afflecks palace it is one of the main reasons i came to manchester and will greatly damage the way amnchester is viewed, not to mention the local tourist industry. i simply love it there is no where like it anywhere else it is unique and amazing. please don't close it down!

Why? This is part of the culture of manchester, the alternative mecha if you will. If full of stores taht you will never find anywere else. if you close it Manchester will loose one of its biggest assests, leaving only chav store and the blasted casino!

Developers and faceless local government officials are determined to destroy the real culture of all our cities, making every city the same mass of fake edifices and fake people. Afflecks represents a real, unique cultural centre and represents the great culture that has slowly been destroyed in Manchester over the last 20 years. You can stick your glass buildings where the sun doesn't shine, because 30 years down the line (when you're tearing them down for 'new' ideas) places like Afflecks will stand proud in the sea of mediocrity. Gettin rid of afflecks palace is like gettin rid of half of the population which are different from manchester. Afflecks makes people individual to the rest of the world.Closin afflecks wud destroy the alternative way of life.
