U cant bloody close afflek's down!!! That place is one of the most unique retail spots on the planet. you want every shop to be as boring as [insert bland high street name]!
Afflecks is the only decent alternative shopping centre in manchester. and its a cultural landmark to many of us, closing it would be very bad for the city.
DO NOT CLOSE AFFLECKS, Otherwise manchester will lose buisness, and i dunno about any1 else but i would make a stand outside Afflecks so they cant close it!

Why not close down a HUGE chain store like Primark or Boots, maybe Next. There are loads of them around but only 1 Afflecks. How unique is that!

Don't let afflecks die. it has got so much character and attracts such a wide variety of people. Eveytime i go there is something good to come away with.
afflecks was a major part of my childhood, and could be a major part of my childrens!! its one of the reasons manchester is so unique! please dont turn it into somewhere bland like milton keynes!! we love manchester for being the black sheep of england!! and the children of tomorrow will thank us for giving them a unique city!
