The whole building is a beautiful and creative space - an interconnected layrinth of small buisness - to shut it down and replace with run of the mill everyday, overprised clone zones would be a TRAVESTY!! Where else do you have such an eye tingling display of public art and interesting people!?!? NOWHERE THATS WHERE!!

Why close it? isn't there enough flashy flats and mundane chain shops in Manchester? it's the main alternative place in Manchester. Alternative people have money as well y'know.
One of the first places I went to when I came to manchester was afflecks. I'm from the country and we had nothing like this! An amazing place that has original items and manchester wouldn't be the same without!
I can't believe anybody would want to shut this place down! It's a hub for people of all types to meet, so many different stalls and a great atmosphere. It would be a real shame for the city for it to go.
It would take away loads of business from manchester! All the great shops would not fit anywhere else;apart, from afflecks palace unique assortment of SuPeRB Shops. I for one want too keep this one of a kind shop open! I LOVE IT!
You can't close Afflecks...it's a part of everyones life, it has made Manchester and the Northern Quarter what it is today. Afflecks helps you be who you want to be without being judged by others because you want to be different, you feel comfortable. Don't do it you fools!!
Please keep it open and ensure the jobs and livelihoods of the most creative, individual and imaginative people in Manchester that try to make their living in Afflecks, and keep this most charismatic and indidual part of Manchester alive.

You cannot shut Afflecks! It's one of the few places left where you can shopt hat still has a good atmosphere....in fact it has an amazing atmosphere! If you shut it, Manchester will lose a lot of custom and a lot of culture!

Afflecks has been a legendary place for trading fior as far back as I can remember and has a special place in the heart of most of Manchester.. closing it is like giving in to the mass takeover of boring glass and steel megastores that are already killing any sense of individuality that my great city has DO NOT LET AFFLECKS CLOSE!!!!
leave the friggin place open. you would cause a lot of trouble if u were to close it down so there for it aint the best idea u have ever had to want to close the place down. adn at the moment manc is known for its knife and gun crime, this would only make it worse. so leave it open adn let the public stay alive instead of gettin stabed or shot at by drunken people that are pissed off about the closing down of it. plus is about the only place goths, emo's, etc.. can shop in peace.
You can't close Afflecks! this is ridiculous. Afflecks palace is a cultural and artistic beat of Manchester city. I was only there yesterday taking pictures for my art and it seems that everything i needed to shoot was around Afflecks and it provided the inspiration for all of my work. Afflecks is a legend and probably the most celebrated individual aspect to manchester city and the surrounding areas. To close it would like be stabbing manchester it in the heart. Manchester is my favourite city in the world, I'm in manchester every week i love it, and I honestly have to say closing afflecks would be such a loss to manchester city, physcially, economically and emotionally! DO NOT CLOSE AFFLECKS PALACE!

I've only been to it a few times, but I have to say there's loads more I wanted to buy in there in any other shop!
Lots of people come here and know of it, and I believe that by closing it down, it'll seriously affect the economy. I mean, what can the flats improve? The house prices will only go higher, so why deny anyone a few shops?
I say keep it open. We already have enough flats there.
Manchester would be a much, much worse place without Afflecks. Lets keep the soul of the city and have flats and money fill in the bits where they are needed
