Afflecks is one of the last remaining distingusing features of a city which once had such a strong cultural identity. To close down Afflecks would be like destroying the soul of Manchester, rendering it another faceless urban sprawl.

A pointless and senseless exercise, Afflecks is a one off, it is totally unique and there is no jusification in closing it down. It is a vital part of manchester and has been for many years. You're seriously missing the bigger picture if you think its just shops and a couple of cafes, come see for yourself, Afflecks is a way of life.
There is absolutely no necessity to touch Affleck's Palace. It was my haunt as a teenager and is a vibrant, creative and much-needed piece of Mancunian History. STOP HOMOGENISING OUR CITIES!!
Afflecks is amazin. i went for the first time last month and it was awsome. i cant wait 2 go again nd i'm tellin all my friends 2 syn this. AFFLEX IZ THE REASON LOADS OF PEOPLE GO TO MANCHESTER AND ONLY SMELLY CHAVS AND PLASTICS WOULD WANT TO GET RID OF IT. itz the only place i can go to buy stuff i really like so KEEP AFFLEX OPEN!!!
Afflecks is the heart of the Northern Quarter... take it away and what you have left is a city which could be any other city in the country. Manchester already has plenty of retail space and urban flats. Surely there is a limit to the number of people wanting to live in the city centre.
You can't close afflecks!!! it's part of what makes manchester so cool!!! there's enough flats allready!!! it would be a disgrace if afflecks closed down, it's part of culture, people have grown up with it, and it's the only place you can get cool, unique clothes.

Afflecks palace shouldnt be close! is has the most random things but its so good if you need a present for somebody who is mental. Afflecks brings back so many memories, and i have also bought many things from there aswell. Its wrong! there are not many shops round the uk anyway with this type of clothing. Dont take part of manchester's culture away its unfair. It stops us from being on the streets. Why be selfish? we need somewhere to go an be happy Afflecks does that.

I've bought so much stuff from afflecks! its the best place for alternative clothing, badges, random hats, dungarees and lets not forget the rubber plantation! fuckin mad shop! it's amazin! keep afflecks open!

afflecks isn't just a shopping place, it's somewhere to hang out and meet people, it's a major tourist attraction, it's unique - and not like every other faceless, characterless, same-as-everywhere-else shopping places and most importantly it's one of the most culturally important places left in manchester and we should preserve and honour this building.
It's one of the busiest alternative places in the North West and one of the best... Theres nowhere else like it to buy a range of eclectic and interesting items, not just clothes, don't shut it else I may be forced to join the minions at feckin trafford centre!! >
For Manchester to stay vibrant, the diversity Afflecks Palace holds is necessary to keep the Northern Quarter alive. It's central for the development of Manchester in becoming a truely international 21st century city. Manchester has plenty of other parts to gentrify -the Northern Quarter and Afflecks Palace should be protected and enhanced accordingly for the unique part of the package it offers the city, and its image.
If they try and close it, I shall turn my house into the new, but smaller size aflecks... Doubt it will be as good.

afflecks is a place where true originals can be originals it would be a crime to close it and its not like it gets no custom its always supert busy!!!!!
Afflecks is what makes Manchester unique, without it it will just become another city full of the same old chain stores, and a mirror image of other cities.
