afflecks palace is the only place we fit in !!!! its an amazing shop and its where we can all go to chill...we are different and afflecks gives us a chance to show our individuality!!!! it where me and my friends chill...its where we can go to escape the world !!!! i love this shop so much
its a right of passage growing up and going to manc and entering afflecks everyone goes and you feel happy when you have dont deprive the people of manchester!!!
I lived in manchester when i was 16, and am from canada, afflecks was such an amazing place for me. it gave me the chance to meet all kinds of people, and see all kinds of things. it truly would be a shame to get rid of it.
If afflecks goes then we will have no where to go and manchester will become just another boring city in england afflecks makes us different and keeps us all happy, its not just for people who like alternativ things because ive seen all different group of people in there and I was introduced to it by my mum. Getting rid of afflecks wll cause so many young people to have no where to go at all and will cause more problems

if Allecks goes not only will Manchester ulose its culture...but where apart from Camden is there anything like this haven for the alternative. |Manchester needs to be pproud of its culture and fight for their individuality! lets not become a typical english hick town!
Nooooooooooooooooo! i'm in australia til the end of august and that means if it closes in june then i won't be able to go there to say goodbye! ********! Seriously though...manchester will start running out of character if you take it away! just like most other english cities. :(
Afflecks is a huge part of manchester city centre, my friend and i love to go there and it's a wonderful place where people can be creative and a little different. I will not allow this amasing building and such creative and insparational work be ruined by a discusting block of flats.
Do we really need another block of flats or boutiques only accessible to the richest people in manchester? Afflecks Palace is a building and a business that makes manchester distinctive and alive. Please dont let greed turn our nations' cities into bland clones of each other.
Affleck's Palace is an important part of the diverse personality of Manchester, and invaluable for small businesses. I understand the so-called march of progress but please find a way to keep it going!
You can't close Afflecks down, it is a part of Manchesters culture and you would be upsetting a hell of a lot of people aswell as putting small business out of business..... think about the people rather than the money ;-)
Afflecks is the city's hub for the alternative youth, without it, kids will probably start listening to shitty house music and wearing ironed shirts. The council needs to step in and subsidise the rent and keep it open, i'm sure they have a big culture budget (All spent entertaining snobs at the lowry theatre I'm sure) SAVE OUR CULTURE!
Affleck's has become part of Manchester, like a dog becomes part of the family, so don't have it put down, cos a dog isn't just for xmas. err, you get the idea. dont shut Afflecks!
can't believe they would seriously consider this since goin to uni ive met alot of people who aren't from manchester who know of it/have been/want to go....im disgusted it's even being thought about!
Since the dawn of NQ! Afflecks Palace has been the center of creation for all of the inspiring people that have made the NQ what it is today! Again Manchester has produced a child that it has let free into this world where big wigs and CASH turn these important things into objects of SHITE! LONG LIVE THE NQ! LONG LIVE AFFLECKS!!!!!
