Afflecks is one of the only places that gives Manchester its individuality.
If manchester wants to be a place of leisure, it has GOT to keep afflecks palace.
It is a major attraction to people in all of the north-west.
It has been there for years, it has brought a lot of happiness and it will continue to do so. It also sells alternative clothes where you cant find anywhere else for miles and miles.
It cannot close, its too important.

DONT CLOSE AFFLECKS! Its like one of the only decent shops around. Close all of the stupid "fashionable" shops instead. We cant all walk around like clones.

You cannot shut Afflecks, Manchester's most coolest shop that only sells certain things like New Rocks, punk clothes, corsets and gothic, emo, etc clothes.
Other shops don't sell such great things and I don't like 'normal clothes'.

Yeh I hate Afflecks but not as much as Flats I think its being turned into? Yeh Don't really need more of them and my friends seem to love it so yeh.. Please no more flats they ruin the view and Afflecks is a major social attraction on weekends! =]
Dont close it please, its the one place in Manchester that sells clothes for the alternative taste. Get rid of it and you'll be breaking the wonderful spirit of diversity in Manchester.

it has been around for years, people travel litrally across the country to shop there, its all i go to when i come in2 manchester its the main place i go. finding such clothing & accessories anywhere else is etreamly hard!!! IT HAS TO STAY OPEN!!!
Afflecks is a major part of the altenative scene, within the city centre region. Closiong the complex/market would not only be potentionally damaging from an econimic perspective but also would affect the city from a socially supportive view. This is a chance for the afflecks community to unite.

Everybody goes to Afflecks Palace, not just alternative dressed people.
It's a place to shop and to socialise.
I've grown up going to Afflecks Palace, it's a way of life for me and for many other people.
It's an amazing building.

Afflecks is teh only palce i can get good jeans from. if you close afflecks, Kag will have no pants. Im sure this is the same for many, then you will have the rising problem of nudity in manchester.

it would seem that men in suits once again want to away our individuality and our freedom to express ourselves again...Afflecks is a vibrant place that makes the city what it is.Dont take it away to build flats or a multi storey car park-leave the thing alone.People come far and wide to see Manchester and Afflecks is a massive attraction. Theres no need to ruin it.....and putting up rent for the enterpreneurs is a proposterous idea.obviously money is the driving force behind this but i honestly think the fat cats in suits sat in leather chairs have enough!

I had my photo on the wall when I was about 15, that would have been a good reason to close it, its not there anymore though SO KEEP AFFLECKS GOING. People have worked so hard to develop their business and I have never been anywhere like it in the world. DON'T SELL!
Afflecks is part of manchester, just as much as other shopping places are i.e. the triangle. Would they close the triangle down to make flats? NO they wouldnt.
