I would really love to be able to play Angelique games here in North America. I've been a huge fan of the series for a few years now, and I know from talking to other girl gamers that this type of game is definately wanted and (in most people's opinions) needed!
We need more games lke this here in the US. there arn't enough of the cooler Anime games that get released here in the US this would be a great one to have, also with the OVA's as well. Please consider releasing this!!!
In my opinion, Angelique and other girl-oriented games deserve a place in the Western market. People say that girls don't play videogame. I think that they will if there was more games designed for them. I'd certainly do!
Sounds like a lot more fun than most of what is out there currently. To be honest thoough, I would buy it just to encourage more games like it to show up, merits be damned. :P
Yes, please release it here so I can buy my girl friend every item you release that has to do with Angelique hence emptying my bank funds even more. Oy ve! J/K In other words please do release it, would love to know what they're actually saying and be able to enjoy the game. Wait, did I see some one say a PS2 version was out...that has to look real good. Any way, good luck with the petition.
Translating Angelique for PS2 would be great for us as fans but also for Koei because there are so many fans outside Japan that are arleady fans and buying stuff in Japanese (even if some don't understand Japanese). So an english game will definitely be easy to sell, even for those (like me) who are not english native speakers but who understand English. To my eyes, Angelique has the potential to become a lot more populare than the internationaly known Sailor Moon. Plus there ARE stories in Angelique video games (more than in Sailor moon's games) and that's what girls are looking for. Right now there are only few games for girls/women, it's a market to be conquered!
I totally agree there are too few games out there for girls. Girls have long been neglected when it comes to the gameing industry. So this would definately be a hit.
With the growing number of female gamers in the U.S., dating sims have the potential to bring in a lot of money. There are already fans of this series. Just think of how many more there would be if more of them could actually understand the language~! *o*
Well... if it gets released in the US that won't really affect me since I'm in the UK, but working with the idea of a western audience in mind, I think it'd be a good thing...
For the love of all that is holy, please bring this game to America and translate it! I would buy a gaming system just for this game. Nintendo could tap into a whole new financial branch of video games for girls - we really would go for it with all the beautiful boys!
There are so many fans who crave anything Angelique in English. Translating and releasing this game would make us very happy! (I would even buy a PS2, just to play it.)
Please translate this game! I was really hoping to see the Gameboy Advanced version released in English several years ago. I would love to have the PS2 Angelique games in English.
I'd love to see this game and other dating sims translated into English. I prefer bishoujo games, but I could hardly resist buying a good girl-targeted game like this. Definitely keep the original Japanese voice track.
I think that there is a huge potential in the growing anime market for these games to be very popular. Please consider translating (although not dubbing...the voice acting is part of the joy) these wonderful games into English and bringing them over here!
As someone who owns original japanese versions of both Angelique and Harutoki, as well as holding discussions about such games at anime events in Australia, I can say with confidence that there is a market for translated versions in Australia.
I also believe that an english release wouldn't need dubbing either since the japanese seiyuu fanbase is particularly strong in this genre.
I plead for you to consider strongly making a foreign release of Angelique.
I've been a fan of the Neoromance game series for awhile and have played many of the games. I remembered the first time I played Angelique and was happy at a game targetting girls that is enjoyable and doesn't dumb us down like games for girls that are in English. Please give us English speaker girls a chance to enjoy such a special game!
I think translations of these games would do very well with the growing female fanbase of anime and seiyuu. And english release wouldn't even neccessarily need to be dubbed... we like Japanese voices too.
Angelique has already proven itself popular in English-speaking society, so a translation would get it to a wider audience and most likely cause it to be even MORE popular still!
There is a large market in the US that is waiting for something like this. I am a huge fan of the series, and while I've played them in Japanese, I'd buy the translated ones as well (provided a quality translation was given).
Having Angelique available to the English-speaking audience would just be fantastic. I've been waiting for this game for three years or more...please please please consider it!
Please give Angelique to the English-Speaking World! I've been a HUGE fan for years! I've played the games, but only in Japanese. I would CERTAINLY buy them if they were translated! I'm sick and tired of Male-Oriented Sim Games. Plus I know many people who would DEFINATELY play the games, buy the Anime, and collect Angelique Memorabilia if were brought to the Western Hemisphere! Angelique even has the possibility of becoming a major coporate gold-mine for the creators if brought to the US! Please release it! ^_^
There's a vast untapped market for Angelique in the US. Women who love games are an overlooked demographic who are just waiting for a chance to play a game like Angelique. It's about time we had a chance to play Angelique here!
I have been fortunate enough to have played all of the Angelique games in the original Japanese. But not everyone who likes the series is able to play; please consider translating the games into English. There are lots of fans who would love to have the chance to play too! (And I would certainly buy the translated version as well!)
