I ordered a poster that never came. After 3 Emails I asked for money back and left negative feedback. Then he leaves me negative feedback with some stock answer that said I wasnt patient with them. Its a scam, and Im glad someone started this.
Holy crap!!No bad experiences here.....i was going to purchase but the negative feedbacks stopped me dead in my tracks.It seems if he would clean up his act and get on the ball he might be able to reduce the amount of negatives he recieves.Kickin him off e-bay wont do any good,he will just get another user name and e-mail address and be right back at it.Thanks for this forum/petition,it will hopefully save people a lot of aggravation.
I think that something has to be done and fast. Ebay dosent need ppl like hi selling anymore. I am deployed in Iraq and thought it would be great to buy a poster for my son for his birth day. 3 weeks later no poster and no reply from mr hersh.. try to call his customer service... thats a joke " due to the fact that we are an internet buisness we do not have a coustomer service" then gives you more web address to go to. this is tootal bull shit.. adam hersh sucks. he has 2500 negatives!! 508 in the past month! what is he still doing on ebay? my friend had a bad experience with him, and now, whenever i look for posters on ebay, i make sure he isn't the seller. he needs to die in a fire.
I paid $10 for shipping and insurance for 1 poster. 4 weeks later, I got the poster (cheap reprint) and shipping was uninsured for $1.79. THIS GUY SUCKS ! When I left neutral feedback, I got a sarcastic reply 1 week later !
the required insurance and shipping caused me to pay five times the price of the item! And the insurance was twice the cost of the item! And he does not actually buy the insurance!!
Treats customers with absolute contempt. Makes profit by inflated postage charges. You predominately receive item damaged.You pay insurance but nothing is ever followed up, replaced or reimbursed. Absolutely no communication. Leaves you (the customer)feedback AFTER you have left him feedback on ebay. Untrustworthy and should be removed from ebay as he reaches ever more closer to 3000 negative responses, many neutrals and ebay does nought.
I paid instantly for 2 posters in early July, In early August I still didn't have them. I had gotten several form letter emails about delays so I emailed the alleged Adam Hersh and got more form letter emails. I called the contact number in eBay and on his website and got a recording saying that sinc ethey were an internet business they didn't need telephone support. Finally I filed a dispute with PayPal. After no response from the seller to PayPal in 10 days they agve me a refund. Meanwhile I got emails from adamherch telling me to withdraw my dispute or I wouldn't get my posters. Finally, I left negative feedback, then got an email from eBay that adamhersh wanted to mutiually withdrw the negative feedback. NO WAY! Then on 8/17 we got the posters, but instead of looking like there had been a big mail delay or something, the package was postmarked 8/15. The total postage was 2.53 and I doubt the cardboard tube they came in was very expensive, but they original shipping charge was 6.99 per poster. How many reasons is that to eliminate this seller from eBay?

I bought a poster from Adam Hersh online(ebay) and paid instantly. I did what I need to do and waited 3 weeks for the poster. The poster came all wrinkled and the tube was damaged and wanted another one or my money back. I paid an insurance for that. They wanted me to repack the stuff and send it to them. Who has the time and patience to wait more than promised and then repack and send and wait for another 3 weeks for a 10 dollar poster? I gave a negative feedback to them and they gave a negative feedback to me as well although I did my part. One thing that caught my attention was the large number of positive feedbacks from the same people whom I suspected that their friends or workers. NO BUSINESS ETHICS AT ALL!
I am currently involved with a dispute with this guy. But instead of leaving negative feedback, I filed a Paypal complaint. I Won and paid for a poster on July 5, 2005. On July 26, 2005 received incorrect poster. Emailed them and they replied to send it back and they'll get out another right away. On Aug 10th emailed them that I still did not receive it and if I didn't by the 12th I would file a complaint. I intended to wait until the 12th but my 45 days were coming due and I wanted to protect my right to file a complaint. So I filed a complaint on August 10th. This immediately got their attention. They emailed and told me that they could do nothing for me until I canceled my complaint. Give me a break! I responded that if the poster arrived by Aug 12th I'd be happy to cancel the complaint. Well guess what? A poster did arrive on August 12th but it was the same exact incorrect poster they sent me the first time. And it took 15+ days to get to me from Florida!. I emailed them again saying that I would be returning the incorrect poster and that I was now requesting a total refund. They still attempted to get me to cancel complaint. There is no way that's going to happen. I responded that I would not cancel the complaint unless they refunded my money. In addition, even though the complaint process gives them 20 days to respond, I would give them only until Aug 17. If I do not get my money back by then, I informed them that I would be contacting my credit card company to dispute the charge (they didn't like that either). We'll see what happens. Don't leave negative feedback. That's a waste of time. File a complaint against this guy with Ebay and Paypal to get money back for non-receipt of goods. I won a single poster from them on July 13th, 2005, for the purchase price of $0.99. The shipping was very expensive, but was clearly described in the description, so I knew that I would end up paying nearly $10 for the item. I wasn't happy about it, and we all know how common the practice of overcharging for shipping is, but I wanted the poster and $10 for the poster and shipping (when you don't take into account that the poster "cost" was less than $1) was acceptable to me.
The thing is, you'd expect that for that high-priced shipping, it'd be the fastest shipping possible. Not so. Take a look at the feedback for adamhersh. It's hard to find a page where somebody doesn't mention that shipping took far too long (3 weeks here, a month there, two months for some others) - that is, if they received the item at all. As for my case, I have not received my $1 poster as of today, August 15.
I know what you're thinking - why not just contact the seller? Good idea! My problem here is that every message I sent seemed to generate anywhere from 1 to 3 autoresponses, none of which contained any helpful information. Request contact info from eBay? The only thing you'll get is a toll-free number that informs you that since they are an Internet-based company, there is no phone support and inviting you to check out their website - which is equally lacking in contact info. In between the autoresponses, I got a number of other emails from AHA that I would consider SPAM (letter from the president of AHA, an attempt to bribe buyers into leaving positive feedback by offering some gift certificate giveaway, etc.), although there were a couple of messages confirming that my money had been received and my item shipped thrown in for good measure. And ALL of the messages sent to me had a great offer at the bottom inviting me to try out PartyPoker!

I also got screwed by these guys They charged $150.00 for shipping and insurance then they shipped me damaged goods twice i sent them back a second time and have never gotten my refund.
This company is unscrupulous. They charged $10 to mail a poster. I paid immediately with Paypal and waited weeks, but no poster. I then contacted Hersh by eamil and they threatened to report me to Ebay and leave negative Feedback stating I had not paid and was in breach of Ebay policies. I then contacted Ebay and filed a complaint. Hersh then wanted to mediate; I withdraw my complaint and negative Feedback and he does nothing. I wouldn't agree so in retaliation he left me negative Feedback. I wanted to report him to the State AG's office but couldn't find anything other than a PO box. Tells you something about who you are dealing with.
I have contacted the Attorney General for my state and I was told something WILL get done. Postal fraud is a federal offense, especially when it involves theft of $$.
I hope this clown spends a long time picking up soap for Bubba.

Adam Herseh auctions is total crap, auto responses, no customer interaction and then they leave - feedback with an excuse about their service....really 12% disatisfied this month alone, thats one in every 8 folks!
I have made several attempts to rectify an error in order from Hersh's ebay store, and to no avail, I did purchase my order, but was slapped with an additional order that came from EBAY..and i'm not paying again, to date I've still not received my shipment, but my check cleared over 2 weeks ago, will not do business here again. If Ebay suspends me oh well.
I paid for a framed poster with express shipping and all I got was a frame 3 weeks later. This guy has does not answer emails or phone calls. This guy is full of shit!
This guy is trying to rip me off and I won't pay for the posters that I won till I get a real email. Now he won't even respond to me and it has been at least 6 weeks. I received my two items VERY late (in fact, the postmark showing the day they were shipped was nearly a MONTH after I had paid for my item! All I have ever received was "automated" responses to my e-mails, and now Adam Hersh has left the ONLY negative feedback I've ever had on eBay, as a buyer OR a seller, stating that I wasn't happy with the merchandise and I never tried to contact them! To the contrary, the merchandise was fine, and I DID try to contact them, more than once.

I left him negative feedback. Then the creep leaves ME negative feedback. I paid the guy within hours of winning the auction and got a receipt. It's been almost two months and the creep has still not sent my poster or refund.
He did send me ANOTHER auto response stating that if I use the link he forwarded and removed the negative feedback he would do the same!

I purchased a poster from this fraud over 3 weeks ago & after paying outrageous amounts for shipping AND insurance, the poster arrived with crinkles and dents all over it. I received my item, but sent several emails with questions and never had my questions answered. Shipping took forever and I paid a lot more for shipping than was actually charged. I also paid for insurance and the item was sent via USPS with no evidence of insurance being purchased. I will never purchase from this seller again.
Watch out for these guys! My daughter ordered a poster from Adam Hersh auctions. We received no reply from our repeated attempts to reach them (their phone was of no help, as it directed us to a website that was also a dead end.) Product paid for never received. A complaint was filed with paypal and Hersh refunded the money but still refused to communicate.

It's approaching 2 months and I have yet to receive a $0.99 poster that cost $10. I left negative feedback and he did the same for me, stating I never contacted him, which I did numerous times. This guys a rip off. Don't buy!
I put down negative feedback. Adam Hersh's product took a long time to get to my house and I told him so, he has since then e-mailed me about retracting my feedback. And I don't like being second guessed. I also think that ebay has given him my address and phone number. Can someone confirm that that has happened to them?

Nightmare! Flawed my 1000+ feedback with an unfair, retaliatory, undeserved negative. Tried to clip me $13 TO SHIP A 99 CENT POSTCARD. Lied on his feedback comment. TOTALLY LACKING IN ETHICS. Then a month later he makes a request for my personal information on eBay, WHY???? Hasn't he done enough torture to me with the grossly overinflated shipping and the unjust, relatiatory feedback? Get this jerk off eBay. He is a scam artist.
The guy simply did not send my poster. I attempted several times to contact the guy and never heard anything back.
The guy beat me out of ten bucks total.

I purchased a submarine "poster" from this cad which turned out to be a cheap undersized photcopy on junk paper. Postage was ten times what it cost them to send it and I waited almost three weeks to get it. I was also sent a ton of "Hersh Spam", about three a day until I left feedback. I saw that this crum was leaving bad feedback on anyone that was not leaving him good feedback so I left an "OK" and went quietly away and vowed to always check feedback before bidding again. This cad should be removed from ebay as he takes advantage of people and give ebay a bad name.
i bought a poster through ebay auctiona and paid 22.96 for 2-3 day shipping that was on 6/15 still no poster 7/11. i too emailed them only to get empty auto responses try to call its just a machine and half the time it's full gee i wonder why.. i did file a dispute with paypal and because the seller never responded to them i won so i did get my money back but now i get emails from hersh stating that i need to pay since paypal gave my money back. is this guy crazy what pay him again to go through another month of waiting. now the emails are getting nasty and harrasing. i am a relatively new ebayer and this has been a horrific experience makes me gun shy of making anymore purchases. adam hersh is a joke and somebody needs to do something about this fraud!!!!!
I payed for my item in early july and it came on the 27th. Over 3 weeks wait, I payed $14 postage but on the package it sais around $5 was actually payed for it. I put feedback saying I tried to contact and they had an automated response and still hadn't received the item. The next day funnily enough the poster came through. Then adam hersh leaves me bad feedback even though I payed their extortionate prices immidiately after purchase and was only stating facts. I decided to withdraw the feedback in the end but don't know how to follow up on it.

I bought a poster three weeks ago and you all know the story...no poster and no refund. I get automated emails and am told to be patient. This guy is very shady. Can you believe he won an award for being such a great e-bayer? Unbelievable. Google his name and check out the good press he is receiving. Someone should follow the money trail. He should be banned and forced to sell his wares in dark alleys where he belongs. I filed a claim with paypal so hopefully I will at least get my money back. I have had a very similar experience. I ordered a poster and paid for it on May 17th. I live in the UK, I was told it would arrive in approx two/three weeks. I paid the day I won the auction and I am still waiting for my product. I have lodged a complaint with paypal and will hopefully get my money through them. I believe I was overcharged on the shipping. I complained to Adam Hersh and recieved automated responses until I took the matter up paypal then I recieved an email from Hersh asking me to withdraw my complaint. I did not repond to this email and as a result Hersh sent another email apologising and assuring me that the matter was being resolved. They still have my money and I have no poster, oh well, I'm putting my trust in paypal. I fully support having this seller removed from ebay and would advise anyone trading on ebay to avoid this company like the plague.
My poster took over a month to get to me. It was damaged due to poor packaging. This is after paying $7.98 for "shipping and handling." The shipping cost was $1.29.- so over 6 dollars was available for a proper mailing tube. The poster was also previously bent up while rolled and was not new as he had advertised. AH told me to mail it back and I would get a refund. To buy a new tube and mail would cost more than original transaction. I left NFB and he slammed me with NFB right away saying I did not try to resolve situation. Then he offered to remove it if I did. I wanted my money back and was not going to pay extra to get the poster back to him. AH told me to tape it up and mail the original mess back to him. Post Office said I could not "return to sender" b/c poster was opened. I explained what happened and they finally let me mail it. I got a refund and we mutually withdrew NFB. I WOULD NEVER BUY FROM HIM AGAIN AND SUGGEST THAT NO ONE ELSE EVER DOES EITHER.

Hi, how i wish i had found this sooner! i have bought approx 30 posters form this guy and he is a total rip off merchant. not only does he want me to pay $40 insurance wether i want to or not, but he is charging me $120.00 for shipping! i have said to him i can not afford to pay and refuse to pay such over inflated shipping, but the response is tough you bought them you pay for them, they are only posters not a box of bricks!. i have emailed time and time again only getting automated responses, when i finally did get somebody to reply, i queerired their outrages shipping and was told it was the best price they could do, as they had to pay the suppliers for the item and also for labour!!! i am currently in dispute with this guy and ebay and it looks like i will have 30 non paying bidder strikes against me and be suspended from ebay. This is dreadful as i have been a loyal customer for 5 years with no previous problems, and now thanks to this pratt, i am going to be struck off and all for having the misfortune off finding this guys auction page. if the situation was reversed and i had sold these items and my buyer was unhappy with shipping i would do my best to help resolve the situation not threaten them with strikes.- mind you i would not have charged such rip off prices in the first place, but hey that must be just what genuine caring ebayers do, not money grabbing rip off artists like adam hersh. i feel that ebay ought to be deeply ashamed they even have this guy on there site. do yourself a favour and avoid this man like the plague.

I paid 9.00 for A .99 CENT poster I bought on May 20th 2005 and it is June 14th and I have still not recieved. I left him Negative feedback because all his responses are automated. He said he would resolve my issues and then left me negative feedback saying I didn't contact him...his number is phoney...DO NOT BUY FROM HIM!!!! FRAUD written all over!!
Do NOT, I repeat DO NOT purchase anything from this guy. He is scamming people left and right. It is peopole like him that give Ebay a bad name and keep buyers away. He pretents to sell items cheaply then charges OUTRAGEOUS shipping fees. The fee he charged me was 972% above the actual shipping cost. I am embarrassed that I bought something from him, but by the time I discovered his shipping fee for a piece of paper it was too late. Since it went to Canada it was not stated in the auction information. Again, the actual shipping cost was practically nothing. I had to take out a second mortgage to pay the shipping fee. Ridiculous! Remove him at once and make Ebay a bettr place for us all.
Ordered and paid on 4/29, 6/12 still have not received. He is still selling the poster I ordered on Ebay, and I haven't gotten mine yet. Last contact stated Post Office had mangled mine, waiting new shipment from supplier. What else can we do? This is the worst experience I have ever had on Ebay.

I made the mistake of purchasing a poster AND a frame from Adam Hersh. The poster was $0.99, the (unwanted) insurance was $2.98, the frame was $28.99, and the exorbidant postage was $22.98. The poster arrived (via USPS, negligible cost) but the frame never arrived. I'm out $55 for a $1 poster!!! Ebay ought to be ashamed to allow this criminal to continue operating on Ebay.
Shipping and handling way out of line. Kept emailing me to pay when I had already paid. I left positive feedback because I was afraid of retaliatory feedback.
A few complaints...
1. I bought ONE poster and received THREE, all of which I was charged for.
2. I made the mistake of ordering through Hersh a second time. Poster never arrived, but in all fairness I did get an email from Hersh saying the poster had been damaged. I received another poster over two weeks later which was...surprise....DAMAGED !
3. I wrote several times requesting another poster or my money back. Occasionally, I would get a computer generated form letter explaining that I had to spend MY money to SEND IT BACK to him, at which time he would send me another. Besides the fact that the entire process would've taken over another month, I'm NOT spending money to return his damaged product.
4. After months of not getting a legitimate or reasonable response, I left negative feedback. The NEXT DAY (wow, he finally responded) I likewise received negative feedback from him and a formal complaint from him to eBay.
In conclusion, Adam Hersh and his cronies are the very definition of degenerate shysterism. They are the turds that won't flush. They are fingernails on the online auctioning chalkboard. They are Austin Powers' teeth. Enron wouldn't hire these people. Avoid like the plague.
I purchased 2 posters, was also stuck with the high shipping & double insurance charges, and I only rec'd 1 poster. I complained nicely & was assured the other would arrive when I needed it, and now 2 weeks later (and a day after I was told it would arrive) it still hasn't shown up. I wished I had researched & found this site before bidding!
I bought over 20 posters, and after I received them I noticed that I have payed over 300% of the shipping price I payed for. Every email I received was very slow to response and inconclusive. Although I received the items, but never again. Worst deal on eBay.
Bought 2 of the same posters same day, same time. Was charged separately for postage and insuerance for each--OK, I was willing to pay this. Then, got two separate yet identical notices that both--BOTH--posters were destroyed by the Post Office, and did I want to choose another item?
1. How is it the Post Office destroyed two different/separate mailings? One I can maybe understand, but 2?
2. If Hersh combined the mailing (thus perhaps explaining why the Post Office might have destroyed both posters, how come I was charged full shipping and insurance for BOTH?
3. If I paid insurance on this item, isn't the insurance settlement supposed to come to me?
Isn't close to passing any smell test I know of.
I never thought about it until now, because I am a newby to Ebay, but now I think that I was ripped off. Why should you have to pay insurance on a poster, especially when I know he didn't pay it himself. Dosen't Ebay have bylaws against this sort of thing, or are they too scared to boot a power seller!?
I bought 4 posters from him, 1 on 5/10 and 3 on 5/10. All were paid in full immediately w/ bank transfer. Like everyone else, I got ripped off with shipping + required insurance. 2 posters were 9.99 for shipping and 2 were 6.99 for shipping + insurance. Total shipping/insurance cost $33.96. He's a scammer and ebay just lets him slide. Once I finally got the posters, he had combined 2 of the posters together - yea, he was charged $2.04 for shipping them! Of course, the second I left negative feedback, he sent 2 of the exact same canned response all in caps as usual. Then I got an email requesting to withdrawl negative feedback .. whatever! Then I got another email from someone named Guy wanting to know what they can do to resolve the issue .. Told him to refund me $25.00 - imagine my surprise, I've never heard back! After all this crap with shipping - it took over 2 weeks to get the items .. EBAY must stop this guy -- if they don't they are just as bad as he is by allowing an obvious fraud to continue to do business!!
I bought two posters and was told that shipping for my items 'could not be combined'. So I paid $6.99 shipping for EACH poster...(one poster was $1 ...the other $4...). When the posters arrived, they were in the same container, and the total shipping was $4.30. Plus one of the posters I 'won' wasn't the actual poster I bid on. It was similar (these were Star Wars posters) but not the same. I only got an 'auto' response to my complaint about the joint shipping. Isn't this fraud against the US GOV since he is using the postal office as part of his scam?
The poster sent to me was almost unrecognizable. It was damaged beyond any kind of use and he got a large amount of money for that damaged piece of paper.
TODAY WAS ABSOLUTE LAST DAY THEY SAID IT WOULD ARRIVE SURPRISE SURPIRSE IT WAS "DAMAGED" AND RETURNED... CROOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!! SOMEONE GET THIS GUY

I bought a poster from Hersh and sent him a money order. A while passed,I thought everything was fine, and then I get a NPB filed on me.I had my money order traced,but the NPB was over before I got it back;Not to mention the fact that he uses automated phone and e-mail reponses,so he can make sure you can't get in contact with him,so he wins by default,but I appealed and Ebay overturned it,once they saw my proof.It turns out that when I received the copy of the money order back from the post office; Hersh had received it,because He was smart enough to put his bank account number on the back of the money order and deposit in his bank.So I filed a claim against him on Ebay also,which was useless because the item isn't valuable enough for them to do anything to him.Meanwhile he left me negative feedback so I returned the favor.But the funniest thing happened today,I just received a feedback withdrawal request from him.So after all this hassle and crap,he had the balls to contact me and want me to let him off the hook.I'm sorry about his luck, it isn't going to happen.I intend to do whatever I legally can to get payback on him;and I encourage anyone else he screwed over to do the same.
My son bought a poster to give to his girlfriend for her birthday, there was plenty of time for the poster to arrive before her birthday. Needless to say, now almost 2 months later, we never received the poster. I called and emailed Adam numerous times without any response. When I did receive a response I was told I had to file a written letter to his claims department. After spending weeks trying to get my money back I no longer had the time to mess with this fool, so my son decided to just forget about it.Then about a month later I get an email requesting that I leave feedback and oh boy did I. Well all of a sudden communications seemed to open up once I left negative feedback. I was asked to withdraw the feedback, and have received at least 8 emails since then; none that were satisfying though. What is even funnier is that amongst all these emails I get one say that they just received my poster back from the post office and it was destroyed (almost 2 months after is was suppose to be shipped) but when I insisted I get my money back, I was then told that the email was sent to me in error and my poster was never sent back destroyed. This guy is such a thief, he is getting rich off of good ebayers. What is ebay waiting for to get rid of this guy? I have been a member for some time and have 100% positive feedback, I have never had a problem like this before. This guy is out of control.
I bought a poster and never recieved it. I e-mailed him and got no direct response!! I then contacted square trade and he wouldn't even contact them back. I THEN left him - feedback so he left - feedback about me. Nothing but a rip off!!!
Adam Hersh is a rude, ignoramus who should not be allowed to sell on ebay. His unethical selling practices need to be stopped now! Ever notice how he doesn't leave feedback until he receives negative feedback? He doesn't mess with positive feedback I guess. And how as soon as he receives neg. feedback all he wants to do is have it withdrawn instead of trying to fix the problem. I gave him plenty of opportunity to fix the problem, but all I got in return was a bunch of automated emails. this guy is a ripoff. i was lead to believe that the item i was buying was 2.99 and ended up paying 11.99. this guy is a scam. i hope ebay does something about this guy.
rip-off artist. ilike many of other buyers, i have been duped in the scam of adam hersch. i won a poster about a month ago, have not received it, and was charged. still haven't received it, nor do i expect to. i even one an auction that was for an item OVERSEAS and got it within a weeks time. must say this is the fist bad experience with using ebay. who knows how many countless suckers they have screwed. fuck 'em in the ass with a big rubber dick. then break it off and beat him with the rest of it.

ONLY BAD EBAY EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD. I paid on 5/11. Shipping was almost 15 bucks for 4 posters!! Today is 5/22 and still nothing. I've emailed "Adam" 37 times (I saved all emails) regarding my order. I only get the same auto-email every time. I'm moving june 1st so who knows if I'll ever see my posters. Ebay must make big bucks from his high volume auctions-- WHY WONT YOU STOP THIS??
My first transaction with Adam Hersh went perfectly. The second time I ordered a poster, it had not arrived after 2 months. When I contacted them, I was told that the post office had damaged it and that it would be re-shipped. After another month went by with no poster, I received an email thanking me for my purchase. I tried to contact them again but was only an automated response. Their response to my negative feedback was that I had left it without contacting them first which is the absolute contrary of what actually happened.
won the auction, paid in full on day one and 2 month later I still do not have the poster. Whenever I tried to contact him, (on the phone and online) there was an automated reply which did not help to solve the problem. After all this I left a negative feedback for him, and in return he hit me with 2 negative feedback and later I received a letter from ebay that adam hersh is asking me to fill out a feedback withdrawal request saying that if I withdraw my negative feedback he'll withdraw his.
He should be removed from ebay!!!being an ebayer has been a great experience until he came along.
was a total rip, had this "mandatory incurence" and the poster was very small, it should have been marked clearer that it was a smaller size nopt a full poster size.
Auction stipulated insurance not offered and mandatory insurance elsewhere on the auction. Misleading at best. I am pleased with the item I received, I just believe it's wrong to mislead and require an additional fee.
I ordered a poster I won for $0.99. Shiping was high and mandatory insurance was ridiculous! Why pay $1 insurance on a $1 poster? Isn't insurance for anything over $100 anyway? My poster took forever to arrive and the actual shipping was only $1.75 but I was charged $6.99. The poster was fine, but the tube was cheap and ripped. Also, I never received a reply to my emails regarding the status of my order. Very poor customer service. I also noticed that all the replies by Adamhersh regarding the negative comments were either automated or nasty. Very poor customer service. This seller is very greedy and I won't be buying anything else from him.
overcharged for shipping(8 bucks plus mandatory $2 insurance), lied and told me my order had been shipped when in fact it wasnt shipped for weeks after that. Have yet to get a reply from a real person, only automated generic emails. This guy sucks!
I ordered two prints, one came fine but the second one I unrolled it and there wasa crease all the way down the whole length of it then underneath the TM copyright symbol thingie there was a pink ink smear. I emailed and of course got his dumb ass autoresponses. Then I get one saying that I never paid, well that was WRONG. Cause I did, and I had the items ! DUH ! He slapped me with a negative feedback (I only had a score of 9, I'm still a newbie). So brought me down to 90%. Sadly, I did withdraw my negative but that is for my scores sake. Not because he is a fabulous seller. Cause he absolutely sucks and ebay should REALLY look at his low feedback and this petition. I am glad that the individual who sent me an email about this did so.
very poor seller! did not respond to repeated emails that I sent to him. BUT then turned around and had time to file a non pay with ebay because the buyer (me) didn't respond to emails.. uh..wrong. Item was paid for, even though I had questions - I didn't want to use his online check out, I wanted to just go through paypal, I did get the poster, but the VERY slow ship.
I was very excited when I found 3 Salvador Dali prints for only 99 cents. I bid on all three because I couldn't see paying $6.99 to ship one poster. I won all three and paid $13 for shipping. I asked for the posters to be shipped to my work address which is listed on PayPal. When I looked on his website to see where the posters were going to be shipped I noticed he had my billing address as the shipping address. I tried to contact him through email but he never responded. My posters arrived at my billing address and I still have not received a response to my email. What really upset me though was when I looked at the poster tube the postage label read $2.97 for shipping and I had paid $12.97 (before the mandatory 99 cents insurance per poster) for shipping. I felt ripped off and so I left negative feedback. I do not feel he tried in make me 100% satisfied in any way. I will not be purchasing anything from him again unless his shipping costs come down.
I won an item from this guy and he wanted me to use his online checkout anyways i wasnt willing to give up all my personal info like that so i asked for his paypal address many times and all i ever got was use this form and threats about how he was going to get me banned if i didnt pay with his form! you realy want to aviod this guy and i honestly hope ebay does something about him soon!
I won an item and asked for a total. And he told me to go to HIS website, which my anti virius tells me is an unsecure website, and I could use the checkout process there. I will not input all my personal info along with my credit card info to get my total. I have repeatedly asked him for a total and offered to pay with pay pal or with a money order. His only response is that i am refusing to pay and refers me to his website. I feel this is a very shady person and I refuse to do business with someone like this. I can't believe EBAY allows him to continue this way.
I won my item 3/31. I paid via paypal 4/1. By 5/1 I had not recieved my item. When I emailed Adam Hersh to inquire where it was I recieved emails that said I had already recieved the poster, which I had obviously not. And then another email telling me to wait SIXTY days, which would have pushed me out of the paypal/ebay buyer protection! I then immediately filed a complaint with Ebay/Paypal. Adam Hersh never responded to the Paypal complaint, but instead sent me SEVERAL emails stating that I had already recieved the item (nope) and I needed to close the claim IMMEDIATELY. I sent a very angry email in response to the 3rd such email from them only to recieve no reply. But Paypal did refund my money, since Adam Hersh never responded to the complaint, they decided in my favor.
I paid $10 for shipping with insurance, but no one was able to give me a shipping date or any sort of tracking number. They also promise 100% customer satisfaction. *snort*
Waiting any longer than 2 weeks to recieve an item is unacceptable. Poor customer service and condescening emails should also be unacceptable.
My experience on eBay with Adam Hersh Auctions wasn't as bad as some others, but bad enough that I felt the need to relate my story. Initially I only had my eye on a Rare Powderfinger OOP concert poster (item no. 5572820877) but, to seemingly make the shipping worth it, I also purchased Ruth Thompson Equinox print (item no. 5561157570.) The condition of the dragon print was stated as follows: "Equinox Ruth Thomspon Dragon Poster Blacklight - amazing poster in perfect condition - very rare." However, since the ad for the concert poster stated: "This poster is an original one of a kind - it is not a reprint - and is rolled in a plastic protective tube - (it) was sent back to us because it was damaged in some way during the original sale" :I sent a question on April 8th to inquire as to just how bad the damage to the poster actually was. After several auto responses, on April 11th I finally received a human response to my question: "The damages are minor, a few folds and creases." I felt, at that time, that I had no reason to doubt the condition of either the poster or the print, so went forward with the purchase of both on April 19th. I paid (via the suggested checkout system - Marketworks - 2 days later on the 21st) a combined total of $1.96 for the concert poster and dragon print .. not bad, eh? THEN I paid another $12.96 for the luxury of Hersh's professional shipping services and required insurance! I received the poster and print only two weeks later .. pretty fast considering others have waited more than a month and sometimes still haven't received their purchased goods. They were delivered good ol' USPS Parcel with Delivery Confirmation for a grand total of $3.22. So, did the cost of the tube take up the additional $9.74? Speaking of which, there was no "plastic protective tube" as claimed. They arrived, rolled together, in a cardboard tube much too large for the posters, so much so that th
Adam Hersh cashed my check for $9.97 (for a poster I won for 99 cents!) and never sent my poster. He then gave me un unpaid strike on Ebay, which makes me lose credibility. I've done everything to prove I've paid, to no avail. Meanwhile, my 9 year old son is still waiting for his football poster. Why isn't Ebay getting rid of this guy? I am so frustrated!!!!!!
