Charter communications has taken advantage of their customers by unfaithful to their customers. My fiance and I were tripled charged and an installation fee when nothing was installed in one month and had a bill of over $250! The plan we were on should have only costed around $80, so needless to say we were very disappointed.

They have been notorious for not recording and keeping customer agreements on file. The customer service is operated by people who don't understand American English(until you want to cancel service.) They make up miscellaneous charges to accumulate extra money. They do whatever it takes to get more money out of you. This company is poorly ran and deserves to be forced out of business. Unfortunately, a lot of areas have monopolies and are forced with a "take it or leave it" approach when it comes to cable and internet services.
