A friend of mine was recently kicked off AOL for "downloading a movie" however he had not downloaded anything during this period (as he was away.) And he hadn't been given any sort of warning on the fact that AOL was going to do this!

Aol has to give specific warnings to people before they are booted from the service!

I haven't been threatened with this, however I know people that have suffered this fate for speaking their mind and a host overreacting to what is wrote. I think it is disgusting that grownups can abuse and cajole but the person that replies gets the boot.

several of my friends have been kicked off AOL for sending spam when the truth is they were hacked into and had their pc used by the hacker, no warning nothing yet AOL still took their monthly fees from their credit cards. This is AOL obtaining a pecunary advantage and as such illegal, something should be done about the way customers are treated by AOL

AOL have threatened to cancel my account ( and thereby deprive me of all my stored records of EVERY description, a VERY SERIOUS matter ) because on a message board I used the words " liars and cheats ", not directed at anyone in particular but referring to bogus asylum seekers who pour into the UK and cause utmost havoc and lie their heads off to get supplied with free housing, food, TV's, mobile phones etcetc while OUR old folk starve and freeze to death.
