There is a strong grass-roots movement by Architects, Underwriters, Professors, even students who abhor the notion that the tradition and write-of-passage of the Architectural Oral Exam has been distilled to a \"puppet\" multiple choice test in its place. As such, NCARB is re examining its position on this decision as there are many NCARB \"big wigs\" (and much in-fighting at the NCARB level) about the decision to do away with the orals and they are strongly considering reversing the decision before the end of the year.
Support the integrity of your profession and sign this petition in support of keeping the final examination for architecture licensing as it was.
