I myself am an artist, and I detest art theft completely.To steal art is to steal another persons work, which they have painstakingly worked on. I say its time we put a stop to this.
Art thieves Need To Realize that just because it's on the internet does NOT make the Art free to use and claim as their own.Stealing art is like Stealing the Artist Themselves.And we would like our Friends returned, Thank You.
I support other artists, as I am an artist myself. This is a problem that continues to go on, and it really needs to be handle better. And if MySpace doesn't handle it properly, it needs to be brought to the court system immediately.
People who steal art should be punished. Anybody can make art, no matter how it looks. Even a tiny dot is art. You can only get better if you PRACTICE. STOP ART THEIFT!

I've only been a victim of art-theft once in my life. I can only imagine the frustration more popular artists must go through when their art is ripped off. This problem must be stopped and something must be done, not only to protect the artists, but to punish the thieves. I can't count the number of times I've reported people for art theft, and even though sometimes it can be a pain in the ass to fill out copyright infringement information, it's worth it just to see their sorry butts banned.
Oh god, i hate it so much when i see art that someone else has draw posted someplace where its not supposed to be...My friend used to be an art thief, but i got her out of it, but even now, im scared to draw things for her...

I believe that often theft is done out of ignorance. It's important that people are aware of copyright laws in the first place. I've made a lot of effort to educate artists as to what their rights are. It's up to all of us to take action when our gihts have been violated. Be pro-active! Thanks for your efforts in doing just that!
