In Crescent City and many other towns in California "BMX" riders are being refused their right to use the public skateparks, the reason being the fact that "BMX Skatepark riding" is not on the hazardous activity list in the CA. Government code section 831.7, this would be a great argument except for a few things. One skateboarding is absent from the list completly and "bike racing and bike jumping" is included on the list, in a skatepark setting all the bmx riders will be doing is jumping, this is what skatparks are for.
