It is no wonder the world is against Christians, we in one breath say one thing, then turn around and argue with someone about their opinion on something like Acquire the Fire. I personally am for Acquire the Fire, I think it is an amazing event. Any event that reaches out to the teen generation and leads them away from a live of drinking, drugs, sex, and any of that is an event that needs to be supported. Even more so if it is including my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in it.

I have worked these events and have taken youth to these events. God shows up and moves because you have a multitude of kids crying out for Him. This petition is a joke!!

All I know is that I have spoken to several teens that have attended this ministry there are thousands and thousands of youth that get saved and their lives are transformed by this ministry. Although what you do say does remind me of scripture, Jesus said to His disciples... "remember they hated me first"... Why does this stirr you so? Obviously there is something eating at you way down in your heart that you would have to post such a blog about any ministry for that matter. God is not in a box, he is the same yesterday today and forever, I think it is completely awesome what Ron Luce is doing comitting his time, effort and giving his all to the call of God in his life. Teens are very important, I am not going to assume why you placed this on here, but I am going to pray for you, that the Lord will heal the wounds in your heart, and would touch you in the way he touches these youth through this ministry. You know Jesus came to us in human form to save all mankind. We have to go to them to reach that generation. I believe Christians should rip each other apart, forget 1 Corinthians 12 - there is only one part to the body and only one function and of course just one extension/expression and that is of the idiot who started this petition. I am now 14 years old, and gave my life to jesus Christ, and I know whats inside me is so true, and is so rela and nothing NOTHING could ever change that! Are you serious? It's insulting that people think that others are wrong because they don't agree with their personal beliefs. It's sickening attack on individuality and personal choice. If you don't like it; don't be a part of it. I don't go to church and start raving that the religion is wrong and harmful, even though that may be my personal belief as long as Acquire the Fire is around. I ABSOLUTLEY 100% DISAGREE WITH U PEOPLE! i went to ATF this year and found that GOD is and always will be the almighty GOD and will save us from anything. I DO NOT know what GOD u serve and love but my GOD would be happy that things llike this actually exist. My GOD would be glad that ATF is gettin people to know him and love him. I am a 22 year old new mother and wife and I went to Aquire the Fire when I was 16 and God used the people and ministry to change my life forever. That was my turn around point. I don't understand why someone would want to "petition" against this, but it really does not surprise me. God's word states clearly "You are either for Me or against Me" and this day in age, we're sadly having more people against Christ...the SAME man who died for YOUR sins too....doesn't make sense, but it's all in His perfect plan. It's funny to me that you have had 1 person sign that agrees with you...I'm sure they're are many more, but don't knock something you no nothing about....I wish you did...maybe you should go...maybe God will choose a different way to get YOUR attention....or maybe you'll never get accept his offer of grace and eternal life and live forever in a place of solitude and darkness...it's up to you, but I think your messing with the wrong person...petition it all you'd like but NOTHING can stop the GOD I SERVE..........

I do not support this petition. In a culture of tolerance and diversity - Christian teenagers have the right to worship and seek God just like any other religion or group. ATF's agenda is more than just meeting God - it is giving them practial tools on how to do life in regards to things like pre-marital sex, violence and drugs.
