Ban Cigarettes from family resturants. I don't like sitting down with my family and trying as hard as i can to breath while I am eating my meal. PLEASE help me ban cigarettes from family resturants or at least make a special inclosed room for them to smoke in so it doesn't get to the non- smoking area!!

... I mean, come on! The only reason restaurants have the smoking side is so the smokers give them their money! They don't care for the face that even though they are on different sides, you can still smell it. Smokers are stupid.

Smoke stinks, just walking through it makes your hair and clothes stink. It chokes me to smell it, let alone try to enjoy a meal in it. It should be banned in anywhere food is served. It is not fair for either non-smokers or wait staff to have to smell it. What a sad individual who cannot wait to get to their car to have a smoke. I would not fart in your face while you try to eat your dinner, please don't stink up my dinner.

the public's health should not be put in jeopardy just because someone wants to light up at a restaurant. They should go outside and smokes themselves to death, not others who are trying to enjoy time with their families.

well, I dont smoke so I do support this petition. Although, My aunt smokes, she says that smoking is just like drinking, or driving a ford instead of a chevy. you know, if you ban smoking ban alcohol too! Ban it all ban niggers, and spiks, reds and yellers. or you could just say well, they will do it anyway, and its a "free" thing. But yeah good idea on the seperate room.

I support this petition. I am extremely allergic to secondhand smoke--I'm recently recovering from an episode that lasted 2-3 weeks, just from going into the basement of my friend's house, whose father smokes. Her father wasn't even there. I'm still sick from it, 2 and a half weeks later. Last time it happened, it was a week of closed throats, not being able to breathe, couching, choking, and vomiting. I was dehydrated, I was vomiting, i had a horrible cold. Think of the really little kids who are allergic to smoke. Think of the people who live with the smokers! BAN SMOKING

If you get your head out of your asses for a second, you will realize that most smokers are pretty polite when it comes to babies and consideration for others. But, of course, that doesn't matter because smokers are EVIL!!! Nevermind the parents who sit at the table right next to the smoking section and expect me to put it out. I was a hostess in a restuarant, and was amazed at the amount of people with kids who would sit literally 2 feet away from someone smoking instead of waiting 5 minutes for another table. Now that's wrong.

I support this petition.When someone smokes in a resturants it is nasty and they don't relize the dangers of second hand smoke and how would they know if some one around them has lung cancer?

I support this petition. I'm happy for other people to smoke but I shouldn't be forced to endure it - especially when it can ruin a nice meal for me. - Seperate rooms is a great idea - roll on 2007 and the ban in UK!

As much as I hate smoke I support peoples right to smoke anywhere they want but not planes, if we keep making laws that say u cant do this or that we will end up being completly controlled.

I am a smoker, and so is my wife. I don't eat at resturants that don't allow smoking because it is great to go get food, then top it off with a smoke after a hard day at work. It bothers me, usually, when people complain about this, but your second idea is a good one. The so called "smoking sections" are a joke. Seperate rooms , yes. No smoking all together, no.
