The books are amazing and has caught much interest in the people. It may even become as famous as Harry Potter, if it becomes a movie. The love for Bartimaeus has to spread and conquer the world, well not exactly conquer, but you know what I mean.
I absolutely loved the books! It has great potential to be a movie, but I hope they follow the book really closely and don't screw it up. Make Bartimaeus a movie!!!

I would love to see this trilogy as a movie series, it would be legendary... Jon Stroud is a wonder, and if I didnt see a film come from this then I would be sorely disappointed!!

This book is awesome! Ahahaha... :3 Well I think this book should be made into a movie to help prove there is a DIFFERENCE between this and Harry Potter. I love the books - it'll great as a movie!! But didn't anyone read the page with the author's bio on it? Well, if you read properly, it clearly states that it will be turned into a movie, with rights bought by Miramax (I think). Don't people read these days? *tuts*

I support this petition. These books could doubtlessly be translated into a great cinematic triumph, and an inexpensive one, if the computer-animators play their cards right. This series has more than a fighting chance.
I support this petition. Hopefully it could be made into three brilliant movies, rather then one cramped one. This movie would fill the box offices. Don't twist it to appeal to kids, just keep true to the story. No cheapo series either, they distroyed Maddigans Fantasia that way.

My wife and I are both fans of the series - we actually took Book 2 on our honeymoon to read to each other. We'd both love to see a movie made, *especially* with Tim Burton directing :-)
I started reading the book to come up with questions for a boy I was tutoring. I'm now almost finished the 3rd book. It'll be wonderful to see something so original and imaginative! I can't wait to see the magic described in the books on screen!
Bartimaeus rocks! I am a huge harry potter fan, and nothing can top those books....except bartimeaus! It was a wicked awesome book (1). the second was great, and going to read the third right now!
Right when I picked up The Amulet of Samarkand, I fell in love with Bartimaeus and his awesome personality. I also liked seeing how his relationship grew with Nethaniel.
Anyway, I think the movie will be SO kick-butt!!! (notice, I said WILL...)
