I have that problem here in vegas, where skateboarders call the cops to get us kicked out or get tickets when they catch us riding there..
build a bike's only park and there would be no problems..
Let the bikers ride... boo hoo for the skaters becuase that cant hit that fun box every time they feel like it, and they have to take turns for the bikers
If they won't listen, vote those politicians out of office, kids! Let them know you run the government, not them! Visit www.psychicflyingmonkey.c om for info on the massive Arizona effort.
Bikes are allowed at woodward west, woodward east, and numerous other parks. Just do it...they do less to parks. i would know i work at woodward west. and i skate. www.myspace.com/blackvolc omstar
if every one agrees to shout out the name of the ramp before they go for it. and ask before they ride. whats the ramps called. and say if theyr new,"hey its danderouse for me still.keep an eye out for me ok! yaha! groovy baby! rock on your heels!
this has gone on way to long. there is no reason for this anywhere. bmx and skate culture are exactly the same, its time we start fighting the real enemy... rollerblades
Don't discriminate those that ride on two wheels instead of four. Motorcyclists get no respect on the street, BMX riders get no respect in the park.
If you dont allow a BMX rider to ride in the SKATE PARK, then build them a BIKE PARK to use.
Providing one group a facility to participate in a sport an disallowing the same right to a similar group with a simlar sport isn't fair.
i ride bikes, and i have no where that i can legally ride. i went to all community meetings stating my position when they started ideas for a park in my area, and when openingday came around, we wernt let in. its time for a change.
f*** that shit! BMX will take over. From industry to government to every social aspect of everyones every day life. if u dont let them in then provide another park spifically for them. it will prevent the fights and protests and it will keep us riders off the streets; grinding up our towns ledges and rails and causing a "disturbance" to the public. bastards....
there is no reason that bikes should not be allowed in any skatepark. if you just look at a park there is no way you can say it is not for bikes, and bikers cause much less damage than theyre hyped up to cause. and skating is for losers
BMX cycling is a great activity for people of all ages to get involved in and should be supported. My local parks have 2 nights a week that allow bikes and it works very well. In my experience, the skaters that precede the bike sessions leave a bigger mess than the bikers do.
