Bikes belong everywere, especialy kickass skateparks! Oh and they need to stop calling them skate parks. Its a public place, so why are they segrecation them and not alowing bikes? I think racial segragation is similar to segregating someone from outhers just because of what they love to do!Peace!
Having very few places to ride really isn't fun at all after all bmx is a sport and needs to be supported just like any sport and a park is a much safer place to ride. People that sign this petition and petitions like this one should sign my petition.
we need places to bike we g o and bike on the streets and we get arrested.we go and bike at a skate park we get arresteed.so i think we should be able to go to a skatepark.just like skaters they skate on the street they get told to go to a skatepark and we get arrested .we cant even ride a bike on a sidewalk..
YEAH! We just went through the same battle here in Mississauga Ontario Canada. After a few years of discrimination and a lot of workto prove ourselves(seeking a bike only park, feasibility study and much more) we finally won last year!! I'm sure you guys will suceed also. Dont EVER lose faith!Just hit up city council to prove were not just a bunch of useless hippies.
i dont even live in brookings but we have the same problem in kingman arizona. one day bikes are allowed and one day people are getting busted for riding. we always run but get caught sometimes. people need to pull their head out of their ass and quit hatin'.
The reality is the park was built with public funding, so why segregate a portion of the public? Handicap ramps are also walked on are they not? The name doesnt exactly imply its complete useage.
Ironic, skaters get hassled so they petition the govt to build parks; then seek to force bikers to do the same. At what point did skaters join forces with the state and law enforcement?
why do skaters get a nice park. and all we get is officer parker. we get kicked out every single place we go. and ive been forced to riding at night so i can ride in peace without anyone yelling at me! Bikers should be able to go in the skate park. or they should make us our own!
I thought that bikes were alowed into the park. Last time I went through Brookings I went by there and there were a few guys riding it. Oh well, I hope this helps.
you guys buldoze out our trails and you get pisd off when pull apart ledges and rails ridn street and you wont even let us in a park. i say if this is the case BMX dosnt exist

Ok why aren't bikes allowed in some U.S. skateparks i just don't get it. I'm from Canada and i never get any trouble with skaters trying to kick us out. Most of the time they are just amazed on what me and my friends do on bikes. So ya i majorly support this petition because BMXers are people to and rubber doesn't wreck parks lmao.
