I support this petition. from what i\'ve read i\'ve noticed that certain locals think highly of themselves they think that they understand the world better than everyone and that they deserve followers and respect for their views. if the ministy of education\'s system didnt suck why would people even bother to say so then? you check your sources. what we do here is totally limited and restricted to paper based crap that doesnt recognize talent. go to america, europe the UK or australia and you\'ll eventually find a program which recognizes talent, but you\'ll never find such a common system being implemented in the poly or JC systems. and the main reason as to why singapore sucks is because of the government\'s lies about its stand in politics if its system is so good why are people complaining about it? its not democracy but socialism we\'re dealing with here and freedom of speech is not tolerated here as long as it does not support the government\'s stand. do you want this kinda ****?

I support this petition. I got the chance to live in singapore for about a year cuz my dad\'s company had him posted over there. Living in this place is truely HELL. Firstly, i dun understand a thing that people are saying to me. I took me well over 3month to get a grip of the basic so called \'english\' singaporean speaks. Secondly, Singaporean are really arrogant people. When ever they get to meet a foreigner they start telling you how great their country is and how other less fortunate asian country suck. I mean for god sake, take a look at taiwan, hongkong, japan, korea and look at your tiny little country and then ask yourself where do rank your tiny little country among these top notch asian giant? To summarize i think singapore as a country has developed to an extend where the development in technology and other aspect has surpass the social quality of the country\'s citizen which means the country is doing well as a country but the quality of the citizen are low as hell and i dun believe they will ever catch up. there are many flaws in our governance/education: elitism, negligence of non-academic areas and the policies revolve money. people r programmed to be robots of Singapore Inc(quoting alvin tan) hell-bent on churning as much money as possible. emotions are to be oblierated unless it helps you to make money(although they'll never admit this); if bonding the familiy boosts ur morale to work, promote it. shove off problems like discrimination against the mentally ill, until ex-depression patients can't get a job = decrease in unemployment = low GDP. they like to "promote the local arts scene to encourage creativity" and blah. but it's the money they're after; i'm sincerely interested in arts n music and im disgusted.

This entire petition is a preposterous joke. I've simply looked at a few of what people are writing and I can conclude that these people are not even using their brains to argue against Singapore. In fact, these people rely on their tiny personal experiences or heresay to form their opinions. I support this petition. Most Singaporeans are mindless dumb asses. They are rude fuckers only care for themselves and their well-being who have no sense of courtesy at all. They don't care if a pregnant lady needs a seat on the bus or if they're jumping in queue. The majority only knows how to complain about small issues. They don't make things happen, they wait for it to happen. Majority in Singapore are fucking introverted and conservative. A little PDA like cuddling is enough to kill them.
