TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION the departure of Diane Neal as ADA Casey Novak,

RECOGNIZING the need for a replacement character in the new season of Law & Order: SVU,

EMPHASIZING the popularity of the character of ADA Alexandra Cabot among long time fans of the series,

CONVINCED of the rich possibilites for character development (for all the characters) with the return of Cabot,

FURTHER CONVINCED that a new, untried ADA introduced would only further alienate viewers,


1. Requests that the producers of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit to strongly consider bringing back fan-favorite Alexandra Cabot;

2. Calls upon other fans to make known their wish to see the return Alex Cabot;

3. Stresses the continuing need for Law & Order: SVU to deliver strong stories;

4. Urges NBC to consider showing fans some love and bring back Stephanie March as ADA Alex Cabot.
