I think if Fox News wanted so badly for Dan Rather to resign then they should be saying the same about Brit Hume.

I have been reading the comments of the petition signers and I am happy to see that persons other then me think that Hume is a disgrace as well as everyone at Fox news.

Recently I was passed along the documentary "Outfoxed" and it has great evidence of these tactics that FOX News uses and I wondered what I could do to show my disgust. Well I think this is a great start.
Anyone with integrity (not to menation brains) of any kind knows that Fox News is a propaganda machine for the neo-cons. Money is everything to them and the people on Fox News have all been bought, so turn it off and tell everyone you know Fox News is One Big Lie!
Fabrications such as Hume's represent egregious abuses of the freedoms enshrined in our Bill of Rights and as such, place the future of those very freedoms at great risk. Hume's actions betray the very function of a free press, which is to act as a watchdog on government. Hume has shown himself a lapdog incapable or unwilling of critical analysis. If this is what Fox supports by his continued employ, then Fox itself has become irrelevant as a member of a free and vital press in America. First step, Hume must go.
There is such an unbelievable war of double standards it gets hard to get outta bed sometimes. Thanks for busting this out. We need more and more of this. We need to scream it loud and shout it everyday untill all those that believe and know all this start to stand up and march in the streets. That looks like the only way it's going to happen.
If someone like Eason Jordan is going to be held to such a standard as to have his offline comments lead to his resignation (and his comments weren't *proven* to be untrue), then this type of statement by Brit Hume is unconscionable. He should be fired.
Mr. Hume you are a lier and one of my favorites is when you said that our soliders are safer in Iraq than they would be in California. I also wonder which of your professors told you a good journalist lies and twists the facts to fit his ideas.
