I'm sure Hume will never get fired for being the Bush shill that he is; afterall, he works for Faux News. But here's hoping there are consequences for the lies he and his colleagues continually spew on FN.
Dan Rather resigns in shame, some get fired and CBS is nationally shamed for not completely vetting a memo that still may be true. Hume lies his butt off and still has his job. Hmm, not very fair or balanced.

For anyone to believe FDR would have supported Bush's plan which will drastically reduce benefits shows how dumb America has become. It's people like Britt and Rush who tell half truths which has led to this problem. The crisis isn't in Social Security its in the right wing media machine telling America up is down. Brit Hume owes everyone in America an apology for his total misrepresentation of FDR's remarks. This is partisan journalism at its worst. We have to start demanding truth in statements made by networks and after the apology you need to remove the words "fair and balanced" from your tag line and then resign. Once a "journalist" has lost his credibility your usefulness is gone - even to a hack network like Fox.

Given that Mr. Hume seems to spew idiotic bellicosity like a second-rate Rush Limbaugh, shouldn't he have to resign from a "News" show? Can't Faux News at least try to pretend that they have some journalistic integrity?
Maybe Mr. Hume was paid by the Federal Government, like Armstrong Williams. If not, he is still doing the same thing, selling this administration's policies, which is NOT his job. Resign, resign, resign!!!
