Once more with Feeling was a classic buffy episode. Its a testament to how beloved this show was to see that so much fan interest...even years after the show was cancelled.
Please give Buffy fans everywhere something great to look forward to! It is such a simple thing that makes so many fans happy!! Fox, give us a break and let the show go on!!!
TO FOX: Please reconsider your position on this matter. I think that this musical is good advertising for your show, and it could seriously increase your revenues from syndication and memorobelia. People are having a lot of fun with this project. Perhaps, you could work out a
I never knew this was happening but now that I know it was going to happen!! I so need it and want it to happen. It was also thinking about coming to one of my towns! I mean come on!!
Fox misses the larger picture in banning these screenings. Instead of perpetuating the cult status and continued rapid sales of their legacy series like BUFFY, they stiffle the community that keeps these shows alive past their network run. Isn't it bad enough that the episode OMWF is cut by about 12 minutes on reruns (since the original was over the 46 minutes a rerun show needs to be not including commercials)? Doesn't FOX have bigger wars to fight...like helping Bush push his agenda for war with Iran for him?
Just heard about this (in that it was being shut down) and wanted to help bring the Music back to the screen. I hope that everything gets worked out to bring it back. Would love to see it come to my area.
I was fortunate enough to see Buffy Sings! almost half a dozen times in NYC, starting with the first performance at the IFC. I had such a great time, a friend of mine and I were hoping to have the opportunity to contribute to the show. I'll start now by signing my support.
I think that it's terrible the show's over, and that the comanies should allow the sing-along for the die-hard fans; they've been loyal, and continue to be; why not treat them with something new?
It was a real fun drive all the way over to St. Louis to see a sign on the window: Cancelled By Fox. And I don't care what this site says. Fox ruins everything, what a terrible company.
I used the theatrical screening of the musical to convert brand new Buffy fans. As a result, they went out and bought the DVDs after seeing the episode, adding to Fox's bottom line. Where's the harm in that?
There is room for compromise. Please consider the ramifications from a public relation's standpoint before pulling the plug. I was fortunate enough to have attended one of the shows. My only motive for signing this petition is so that other's may be afforded the opportunity as well.
I haven't had a chance to see Buffy on the big screen but I was really hoping that I would have a chance to soon. I hope Fox realizes that fan events like this only helps keep interest alive in a show that has been off the air for years now.
Fox is money hungry why cant they just let us enjoy the buffy musical? I just saw it in San Diego and I loved it. I had so much fun I was planning to see it again.
