The Buffy Sing-a-long was one of the greatest events of my life. I hooked up with another Buffy fan, we reminisced about the show, talked about our Buffy collections and how they needed to be expanded, and then sat back and laughed and cried and laughed again the whole way through 2 wonderful hours. It was so much fun, I already knew that I would never miss a showing were it to ever return to Seattle again. I miss that show. And now I miss the opportunity to experience it all over again -- with a huge crowd of devotees. I beg that Fox settles down and someone up there realizes that this actually increases the madness and leads to a more dedicated fan base, which leads to greater sales, etc etc.
Fox, please let us the Buffy fans continue to enjoy one of the greatest Buffy the Vampire Slayer episodes ever. Once More With Feeling deserves to be seen by every true Buffy fan alive at least once on the big screen. I was fortunate enough to see this great episode recently on the big screen before it got pulled from theaters. Please Fox let us have our Buffy back.
Do you hear the people sing, singing the songs of angry fans? It is the music of a people who will loathe Fox to the end. When the beating of your heart echoes the beatings on your skulls, there is a life about to start when tomorrow comes.
Hi, I am a huge Buffy the Vampire fan and will of course be happy to pay money to go to a sing-a-long showing of the musical episode at a theater. I hope that the legal aspects of showing TV shows in movie theaters can be quickly resolved. Thanks!Sarah Friedman
life's a show... you don't get to rehearse, and every single verse, can make it that much worse. so don't make it worse. make it better. buffy is for life, and death, and then life again... and then death... but then life... again. so... GIVE IT BACK!
Absolutely. I had no idea that Buffyokes existed and now I can not imagine my life without such an event! Something like this doesn't happen everyday. Please allow the fans to continue what makes them happy.
These screenings are a great way to further fan interest in the show. Just think what would have happened if the Rocky Horror people had been this short-sighted. Bring the musical back!
I am from Chicago where I have seen Buffy on the big screen. It comes along once a year and brings people together to sing...about BUFFY!! What is the harm in that? Please give us the opportunity to keep the show alive. Thanks! -Traci Skocik
This is BS that fox pulled the plug on this. This is greed at its worse. Fox needs to stop hurting the fans. We love your product and most still buy Buffy products. If Fox does not go back on this decision I will have to boycott Fox. Which won't be hard give that Fox produces shit television.
The screening of this in Minneapolis was the most fun I had all summer. I brought someone new to Buffy who is now a fan. I planned on bringing more potential converts to the next one. Please work to resolve whatever issues stand in the way of theatrical screenings.
Please don't do this! We've been loyal fans of Buffy and finally have a place to go and relive the excitement, plus meet others like us! Besides, I am still waiting for Buffyoke to come to New Orleans!!!!!
I never like unions... and I was a SAG member for a few years... paid more in union dues than I got in paychecks... so not surprised they a yapping for money now. It won't go to the actors... it will go to the union. They should be ashamed. Ashamed. Dave Ness
There has never been a Buffy sing-along in Hawaii - yet. But I'm one of many in my state who were hoping we could eventually make it happen here. I'm optimistic that this can be sorted out, it would be a sad thing to take this away from possibly the most loyal and passionate fan base for any show in the history of TV.
