My wife and I were going down to St. Louis this weekend to do this and were very saddened that it was canceled. Please resolve any internal or external issues that are in play here so that the Buffy Sing A Long (and any other such endevours) can continue. Thank you.
It's disappointing to see Buffy episodes and Fox TV episodes pulled from theatres. Please figure out the residual issues and give this experience back to us!
Of course this happens right before it's shown in St. Louis. Just don't forget us once this has been resolved. I'll say it once more, with feeling...Bring Buffy Back!!!
Joss Wheden has more than proven he is one of the most successful, innovative, and profound writers of television and film history and Buffy is the first place we really got to see him shine. Please allow us, the fans, to have this as a celebration of Joss's gifts. Thank you.
I thnk that it is a shame that the Buffy Musical was cancelled. It had, as you know, made waves for the show and the studio, even getting attention on NPR's flagship show! Not many long cancelled shows can boast that. I look forward to the day when this show tours again!
These screenings are a wonderful way to broaden the fan base of these shows. DVD and other licensed products sales can do nothing but benefit. Pretty please with sugar on top renew the license for these shows!!!
Community screenings of cultural assets increases value to the asset brand holder, reinforcing brand loyalty in brand users and bringing new users to the brand. It is economically wise to encourage such screenings, not shut them down.
I live in Chicago and saw the show there back in June. My friend flew in from Virginia to see it with me. It was amazing seeing all these fans come together. I will definitely go back to the show when it returns to Chicago.
My friends and I were really looking forward to the Buffy sing-a-long. I've heard such great things about it! I hope that I'll get the opportunity to enjoy it in the future.
I have enjoyed watching Buffy and Firefly on the big screen, and was looking forward to seeing Angel starting next week. Has it occurred to you that these screenings are social events that bring in new fans and new DVD purchases?
I am still a huge fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Even though I purchased all the DVDs, I still watch it whenever it's on TV. I missed the sing-along and I want to go. Why would you pass up an opportunity to continue to benefit from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer revenue stream? I just don't get it.
Buffy is my fav show and I love Once More... I was really loooking forward to watching this episode with a crowd of fans and singing along. Please allow this to continue. Thank you.
The Buffy Sing-a-long was one of the most fun nights I've had in a long time. I'd hate to see the show disappear due to licensing and paperwork issues. Bring it back!
My daughter and I were hoping to go to the show when in played in the Boston Area. We're both big Buffy fans. The show is a perfect event for Buffy fans. Events like this promote the Buffy universe and will sustain long time fans and bring in new fans.
Nooo, don't take away the sing-a-long. If Sound of Music and It's a Wonderful Life can do it year after year, why the heck can't a FOX TV show! Don't rain on our musical parade--PLEASE!
I really upset and disappointed that Fox has decided to do this. I was looking forward to going and possibly being a part of the floor show for th Nov. showing in Washington, D.C.(I'd sent in audition photos.) I was going to bring my husband and 8 year old, as it is her favorite episode of BtVS and it would've been a fun family outing. The cancelation of this is a big disappointment. I came late to the Buffy fandom, only after seeing it on DVD and was looking forward to interacting with other fans. I hope the various companies involved resolve this so that tOMWF can continue to be produced around the U.S. and other places.
