Please allow this to continue! It's a great way to support the show, and meeting with other fans in this manner keeps up my enthusiasm for the show, which in turn makes me want to buy all the dvd's that I don't have. I only buy dvds when I know for a fact I'll watch them several times, and a buffy musical keeps the idea at the forefront of my mind. There's no money taken from FOX-- any fan that would go to such an event definitely owns it already! Please let us have our Sing-A-Long.
Please bring the Buffy Sing-A-Long back!! I wasn't able to get to the event the last time it was in DC and was so looking forward to the November dates! Please come back!!!
This is a fabulous show, as everyone here knows, and this particular episode was wondertasitc to watch in the Rocky style. I went to the San Francisco showing, and planned on bringing the Buffy fans that couldn't make it to the repeat performance. It would be wonderful if there was a way to make it a regular thing, since the events are presented swimmingly.This is a wonderful way to get fans together for good times and swag purchasing!
Fox - please make the right call (both financially and for future audience development and loyalty) by allowing this musical event to continue. The Buffy fans are numerous and can only grow!
Please work out the legal issues soon, so the Buffy Sing-a-long can continue. I paid to see the show in July and was planning to do so again in November when it was coming back to town.
I live in Memphis and already had not only tickets for the show but a pre-paid, non-refundable hotel room. I understand the legal issues involved, but don't understand why Fox, who have historically complained the loudest and behaved the worst about fans'
This event keeps interest in the show alive! It also helps us bring in new fans. New fans means new sales - and then they go on to Angel and/or Firefly - which mean we all win!! If you ban this forever, you're doing nothing but cutting off your own nose to spite your face! Leave us no tools to recruit with, sales of your own products go down! Hey FOX AND THE UNION - Give back to the fans - Don't once again be the 'Big Bad'!
The Buffy Sing-a-Long was well on its way to becoming the Rocky Horror show of the new millenium. People who have never seen the TV show have been going, and, after seeing it, have gone out and purchased the DVDs. Finding a way to allow this event to be brought back to theatres will only end up as a win-win for you, the old fans, and the fans-to-be.
Please please please negotiate to resolve this issue soon. With everything going on in the world today, Buffy is an much needed escape for many of us to retain the precarious hold we have on our sanity. Please work for some sort of compromise, and know that we respect and appreciate all the hard work that goes along with negotiations. Thank you.
hopefully Buffy the musical will be back soon. it's give me back my buffy fix and let's me be around my fellow fans and not feel anything but purely proud to be a Buffy Fan.
Please bring the Buffy Musical back to the big screen. I was planning on bringing a big group to the DC showing and would happily financially help support such an event.
Fox should be loathe to stop production on Buffy singalong; it is a Cult Classic now like Rocky Horror; you can't stop the fans, think of gains by supporting them!!!
The Buffy musical on the Big Screen is a fabulous idea and a great way to bring fans together and create more interest in this show, other Whedon shows, and for that matter, other FOX property. Please resolve the licensing problems quickly so more fans can have this opportunity!
I took a friend to the SingALong who had never watched Buffy, now she's hooked and not just on Buffy, but also Angel and Firefly. These Sing A Longs are a great way to still bring new fans in, which should help Fox to sell even more DVDs if you think about it.
The show never got around to my neck of the woods and I've been waiting patiently for to do so. Fox please reconsider this rather petty decision. I've considered boycotting anything done by Fox before but after this was happened...
I haven't had a chance to partake in this event yet, but was hoping to in the near future. Please allow them to continue to supply this fun event for all of us to enjoy!
