After all these years,Buffy is still my favorite show. I never got a chance to see Once More with Feeling's interactive version but I've always wanted to. Now I will never get the chance if it's take away for good. I've heard such great things about it,it's made so many fans and people new to the show so happy. I hope some way you can bring it back.
please don't take away our singalongs. it's one of the few things we've got left that as a following we can enjoy together in one room. this is a huge thing for a large amount of people-- people willing to pay alot to attend these because they are that devoted. how many other shows have fans like that??
The sing-a-long version of Once More With Feeling was one of the best times of my life. I love Buffy very much and all other Joss Whedon productions. Please let these fine people of the Buff sing-a-long keep bringing people together and giving viewers a once in a lifetime chance to get out of our homes to enjoy a great show and great people.
I was really hoping to be able to see Buffy the Musical on the big screen. And Can't the Stop the Serenity, what a great way to help people! Please allow these screenings to continue ... it is incredible that after all this time there are still big fans who want to pay good money to go see these productions in a theatrical setting, what a blessing and compliment that is for Fox and Joss for all their hard work.
Seeing OMWF in a theater packed with other Buffy fans was a once in a lifetime experience! I was hoping to make it a twice, thrice, or 35-times-in-a-lifetime experience, unfortunately...
Fox, you're being penny-wise and pound-foolish by not exploiting our fanaticism for a TV show that went off the air four years ago. Aren't there some wise Fox financial execs who recognize the benefits in a grassroots organization perpetuating the legacy of a Fox brand product and advertising said product, all without any marketing fees or contract? Perhaps Fox execs should look at the forty-year-old Star Trek franchise if they don't understand that suspending the screenings and all of their attendant free publicity in order to make a pittance now is more costly than profitable. Why not haggle over revenues WHILE the Once More with Feeling phenomenon continues with its momentum unabated? One reason record companies are going down is they've never seen the value in fame independently created by the culture because such cultural activity can't be quanitifed in the corporate budget. But I guess it's pointless to complain in this society about lawyers needing to control every minute aspect of cultural life and to wring every last penny out of every cultural activity--it's not Fox, it's the way it is and has been in for a long time. I'm reminded of Dick the Butcher's famous line in Shakespeare's Henry VI Pt. 2,
Please let them show Buffy the Musical in Theaters. I attended the show in Seattle and had a great time! I'm 54 years old and was shocked to see how many people of my age group attended, many of them with their kids. Please reconsider.
Fox--it is ridiculous to shut this down. Just figure out a reasonable way to make some money off of it and let it continue. It is only supporting your products.
I had hope that the Canadian rights were going to be granted soon and this fantastic show would come to T.O.Now , No Shows!?! NO WAY!!!I totally support you and I will NOT give up hope!
I went see Buffy the Musical last month for the first time. Afterwards I told all of my friends how great it was and we all planned on going to the next showing! please keep Buffy alive for us......
I get the residuals thing, but if this is RHPS for a new generation, then it seems that Fox will figure out a way to make money off of this, and we'll be happy to give it to them.
I've spent forty dollars plus just for tickets to the Buffy Musical. It is a fantastic event, and one that should be allowed to continue, along with other screenings of FOX shows on the big screen. This is a GOOD thing for FOX, not a bad one.
The Buffy Musical events have been SO wonderful - and I can't help but think they've helped keep interest in the franchise alive and boosted DVD sales. Please do what you can to let us enjoy them again as we sing along!
