Please take a moment to read this statement and then decided for yourselves what should be done about this.

I was just wondering how the president can say he just wants to save lives if he is having our troops kill thousands of innocent people in the middle east. Do you think this is "the right thing to do?" You fight a war on terror with terror? How do you expect to be successful. People all over the world have lives like us North American's. They deserve to live those lives without worrying about being invaded by another country. About this war, is it on terror or is it all just about oil? Or is it the fact that while our country is at war we can't elect a new president? Did you realize that this whole war, fighting for oil is actually using up more oil than it would to just say to the leaders of other countries "Hey you guys are starving here is food we have plenty of it we're obese, in return we were hoping that you could share some of your oil with us" Did you ever think of things that way? I bet not. Those tanks of ours you got going over there use up more oil than I can think of. I know there are alot of people out there that will disagree with me but there are probably alot more that don't. I just don't think that this is the way to go about things. If we weren't at war, we would have more oil right now because your wasting burning it up in tanks that are just killing innocent people. You don't think that they won't fight back if North America ever leaves?? Look at what we've done as a country? We're ruining lives of everyone! Oil effects everything, and once its gone its gone forever. Stop to think about this one. Gone forever. That means it can never ever come back and there is nothing we can do about unless we act now. Stop with the wars, try being a good guy, try trading things with them like food for example. Ever hear the song Dreamer's Disease by the New Radicals? Well in the word's of New Radicals "You only get what you give." You can't just invade a country and say "You have something we need so we're going to kill you unless you give it to us" way to make an enemy... You have to trade, didn't you ever listen in history. We got where we are today because of people trading, sharing what they've got. You really have to realize that if we don't do something about this, things are only going to get so much worse. Its okay to admit your wrong. The world is going change drastically and why? Because of everything we are doing now. Fighting with other countries, abusing our rescourses. I'm only 16 years old, I don't have a driver's liscense and I am starting to see that soon there won't be any need for one. You want to save lives Mr. President???? Then open up your eyes and see what is happening to your country, to every country, you aren't fighting for any good reason. Just think about all that I have said today. Try to take it all in and realize what is going to happen in a year or two. No more oil means no more cars. What happens if anydbody needs to call an ambulence, there won't be any to come and save them. We need to find another way to go about things. And it has to happen quick or else the world as we know it will be gone and it will be working its way back into a time when everyone got around by horse and buggy. Where the only weapons used in war were guns and swords. We're working our way backwards. We have to do something about this.
